Have emailed the crisis fund for our local area asking g if they can help.
It's not possible to get to on public transport it's in the middle of nowhere but a bloody good job.

Still trying to get through to HMRC to get the SSP1 form.
Done the online for a local council emergency payment which is a ducking pre paid card (way to make me feel subhuman)

Plus we have no money. Idiot dint tell me about the insurance until petrol had gone in to get me there and I had bought food.

This is ridiculous. I can fully understand losing your rag with the system.

    melly,

have you double checked the insurance yourself? Worth doing just in case he has misread the date in his current anxiety.

Where did you buy food from and how did you pay? If from eg Tesco and you paid cash, could you return any for a cash refund?

  • melly -sorry to throw something else in to the mix . I've just been checking absence of ssp1 from employers . A P45 is considered enough evidence . Not for now but may be useful at some point .

There but for fortune go you and I.
  • (((((Melly))))) I'm really worried about you too Hun. :( Insurance wise, is there not one where you don't have to pay a deposit, and your payments start next month? By which time hopefully you'll have got things sorted. Places like comparethemarket are good places to try.

WaS, what a shock that must have been being woken by the police! Just what you didn't need :( Everything ono said is spot on. You shouldn't have to pay out for any excess as everything should be done through his insurance. Definitely no need to go to court.

Hope police baby gets in touch today tea. If he does, remember to ask about what to do with FOH stuff.

Birdie, I love that wallpaper! I'm sure I've seen cool travel related stuff somewhere that would go perfect with that! If I can remember where, I'll post them.

Have you also checked your bank acct today? I sometimes have had payments into my acct (not related to sickness or jobseeking) that have arrived before the paperwork.
