Ugh WaS, not a good start to the day! Hope your insurers are nice and helpful. I got driven into by a lorry a few years ago and actually the insurance company were really helpful (which surprised me!) The bloke's employers had to pay for all the damage, and the excess. Have everything crossed this is sorted quickly for you - will you have access to a hire car if needed while yours is off the road?

WaS, when you call the insurance company name sure you tell them that WaSp cares for you and you need the car for that. They often help out with all sorts of things so you might find they help out with that.
When I had a horrible accident my insurance company paid for my passengers transport home, some private treatment and other bits and bobs despite it being my fault

    melly,

I wouldn't say that you are going to kill yourself (not fair on the advisor) but you could say that you are having a very marked increase in suicidal thoughts because of the stress of having no money.

Can you keep posting on here throughout the day to let off steam?

Melly, I'm really worried about you :(
  • I wouldn't say that Melly in case they panic and call someone. Unless of course you do feel as if you need help. Do let them know how desperate you are though. Have a hug.

Thank you, Welly! I have told WaSp to mention me. He is currently on hold for what seems like forever.
