Messed Up. Have a virtual hug. You are doing really well - all this cooking. I am proud of you.

Wasn't your landlord talking about getting shut of him at one point, or am I mixing you up with someone else? You shouldn't have to be putting up with him shouting at you, that's out of order.
AFAIK he's been served his notice, problem is i think its a months notice and b)knowing him he's going to drag this out as long as possible.
so there is an end in sight, he's probably just going to make our lives hell for the duration.

One of my other housemates is up (can hear his tv), am tempted to check in and warn him !!!! might kick off. At least then i'd have back up if it does....

Thank you Melly, very interesting read.

I knew it was far more complex than looking in the mirror and seeing a fat person.

I knew it was about control and order really.

    Yours

That was very interesting to read and explained it in more depth than i've seen before. I can;t begin to imagine what its like to live with and deal with. I have in the past had...unhealthy ways of dealing with food (restricting and purging) but never considered myself to have an eating disorder (possibly because when i did psychology at a level they made a big deal about BMI and how you had to be under it to meet the criteria and as my weight has been up and down i've never considered myself to fit the criteria)

    *big hugs and squishes*

It's the closest I've found to how it feels.

    My furs back.
When I still lived in my original city and I was a party girl and promoted dance nights and all sorts of things, I had a friend let's call him Fred. Fred and I always used to say we loved each other too much to be friends and not enough to go out.
We spent pretty much 24 hours together and had a blast.

One day in a club Fred turned to me and said 'one day you will trust me enough to tell me what's wrong' I made a joke about it and he said 'Moo something is, your anorexic'. I did the usual comments ts about eating and he said 'we are together a the time and I never see it, plus there's this' and stroked my stomach and the side of my face where the very light blonde hair lives. 'Anorexics have this, it's too keep you warm because you have no body fat.'

MessedUp, what reason would he have to kick off?

If, for whatever reason, he starts rowing or goading, I would suggest the best tactic is just to walk away, no talking, no eye contact.

If you were to lose it as well, he could accuse you of starting it and that would make trouble for you. So, just don't say a word and leave the room.
Remember, it's only a matter of days before he goes, and if he's a nasty piece of work, he may want to try and make things unpleasant on purpose, and get you into trouble as well.

    Don't give him the satisfaction.

    Silence is golden! :A

:T on the macaroni cheese! I love macaroni cheese! It's also delish if you slice a tomato to put on top and under the grill for a couple of mins!
