Oh, Georgie I so wish I could afford those boxes, they are exactly the kind of thing I love! I have been known to make an Approved Food order just because they have Lucky boxes for sale, I just love surprises! Please tell me what you got, I am all excited for you!
It's not bad tbh. I think Nov and Dec box were maybe slightly better, but this one is ok. I think we'll use most things out of it. I'm eating the rice sticks now, they don't have much flavour, but I quite like them. D will use the Jordan's cereal, he eats that kind of thing all the time, and the sauces we'll use as we do a lot of stir-frys. The chocolate is erm interesting! We don't drink beer, but will drink it as a shandy. So I don't think anything will go to waste.
I agree WaS, it's exciting to receive! We're like big kids and still like a lucky dip! Somethings you'll like, some not, but you'll also discover new things that you wouldn't have thought about trying before. Plus you get money off vouchers too.

That looks pretty cool Georgie. You could also use the beer in a stew or a batter or to wash your hair.
I am finally heading home now. I make an appointment with the doctor in the morning. Don't think I'm going to die or anything, but will keep an eye on them and if they get worse I'll call nhs24 or whatever they're called now, on 0118 999 881 999 119 7253 (virtual snacks to the first person who gets that reference) or go to out of hours. Perhaps my meds don't suit me anymore - I've been on them since April last year and haven't increased the dose since September so no idea.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Good thinking batman! (Re the beer)
I was gonna pretend I got the reference but I'll be honest and admit I googled it!Still non the wiser as I've never watched it.
Keep an eye on the bruises tonight and if you do think they are getting worse, then don't hesitate to call the emergency doctor.0 -

Richard Ayoade is hilarious! Plus it was the first time I saw Noël Fielding too.

Blimey this thread moves fast when you don;t post for a coupe of days
Wednesday weigh in...
I've lost another pound! So that's 3lbs in 3 weeks....can;t say i feel great about it but i seem to be keeping it off which is a positive. Can;t go swimming for 2 weeks because of my tattoo, but as soon as i can will be back swimming
Positive things from this week:
1. I bought a slow cooker! So shall be making myself some healthy home cooked meals
2. My meds aren't having the bad side effects they were before (though have noticed my appetite has lessened, which is a side effect but not an unwelcome one!
3. I went to the doctors and was honest about the fact i;ve not been taking my anti depressant, not easy to admit but im on the right path now
Positive steps for next week:
1.I need to do the big scary thing...and book a smear test. Im off for the week so i have no excuse and i need to do it. I'm terrified (not of the actual thing, but of being told i have cancer etc) but i need to do it
2. Am going to batch cook some healthy meals and not eat out when i don;t need to
3. I'm determined to go to a zumba class next week!

So yeah....confession time. I;ve not been taking my Prozac. For several months. I have tried restarting taking it but the side effects were horrendous and the most i was lasting was 2 weeks. Finally went back to my doctor who quite rightly aid i should have come back sooner. She pointed out the reason the side effects were probably so bad was that i was trying to take 40mg, when really i should have been back on 20mg and working my way up. So for now i'm back on 20mg and have to gp back in 2 weeks to see how i'm getting on.
Apart from that life is pretty good, have spent a lot of time with Swain (hence why i've not been very active on the thread-sorry about that-shall try and be more active!)

Also, WaS i think you are tremendously brave for posting about your personal experiences, it can't be easy talking about things, especially if they are scary but the way you explain everything is just amazing. I;ve learned more about mental health on this thread than i ever could of done in the real world. You're so honest and reading your posts is always so informative and personal. You help me understand things better and i can't thank you enough for that. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Can someone please give me a kick up the behind? I need to go and put something on for my tea, tw@tty housemate isn't even here and still i feel overcome with anxiety about being in the kitchen. >.< I need to eat but the thought of being downstairs still feels me with dread. I mean i could literally just shove crap in the oven and just go back in 20 mins but am STILL feeling anxious. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I could get it on catch up probably. I might give it a try as it looks quite funny. I can never make my mind up if I like that Richard Ayoade! Have you watched that travel man show that he does yet? We taped last nights episode but haven't watched it.0
