I am tired but my little uns are now wound up (ta tomcat)

Oddly OH has no problem taking me to either of these jobs lol
  • I saw a REALLY cheap HP printer on HUKD earlier in the week. Now sold out, sadly. This is the same model and almost as cheap if there is a Staples near you where you can collect. http://www.staples.co.uk/inkjet-printers/cbs/431168.html?promoCode=400600999&Effort_Code=WW&Find_Number=431168
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).

Apologies for the lack of personals today. Brain has abdicated all but the necessary functions.

No idea about printers. Mine is about 7 years old and is only used when I've forgotten to print boarding passes before a holiday.

Pyxis, you're always on holidays! :)

Can someone please tell me it's ok to leave the office early if I don't feel well? Headachey, dizzy and covered in massive bruises. Have them on my arms and my hand. No idea how I got them. For some reason I feel the need to remain here until I've done my designated hours even though I am on flexi time.

    Code

    Go home!
Bruising do you normally bruise easily?
  • How sweet of you, HBS and what the man said to you is so true!

I agree with Melly code, home time! Keep an eye on the bruises, they can indicate other conditions sometimes like anemia.

One of my medication's fun side effects is depletion of white blood cells, which sadly means I can't donate blood anymore. I guess that doesn't help matters but I really don't want to go back on weight gain 3000 so am not mentioning to the GP unless it gets much worse.

Until 2007 I'd only been abroad about ten times in my whole life! When I had the time, I didn't have the money, and when I could afford to, I didn't have the time! (Self-employed, etc.)

So, I'm making up for lost time while my body still works!
Plus these holidays are very specific activity/music-type holidays that I absolutely adore! (Athens was the exception - that was to escape Christmas!)

When the body stops working properly, I'll stay at home and read all my books :p and make all the crafts I've been hoarding stuff for! :p:p:p
Might even learn the saxophone! ;););)
    :rotfl:

    Code! Go home!

    You work late! Gosh!

Have you been taking Vit. C? Sometimes that makes you bruise more easily!

Edit. Just saw your post about the platelets. It'll be that then.

Ok, more and more bruises are popping up. I had 3 this morning. Now I have 12 on my arms and hands. Should I be alarmed?

If it's your medication, you probably should tell your GP.
Have you googled it? See what it says online about side effects and whether these are transient or should be taken to the GP.

Well, 12 is a lot just to pop up in one day.

My Mam bruises very easily, she has a problem with her platelets. But I've never known her to have that many that quickly before. So whilst it could be something perfectly innocent and just be to do with your medication, it could also indicate something more serious.

Have you been on this medication for long?

I would get checked out tonight as that doesn't sound right at all.
