Afraid I can't advise on a printer WW, I have a cheap HP colour laser for the tiny amount of printing I do (mostly Italian homework) and a big Epson photo printer which I haven't used since I moved house (five years ago!) as I've hardly done any photography since then. Both are several years old and I haven't thought about replacing them, so don't have any idea what's good or not these days.Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230

Whitewing, I have a two-year old wifi printer, an Epson WF-3520 series. It's a multifunction machine, so it prints, copies, scans, sends faxes, and there's a card slot and photo thing.
I can't remember what it cost, but it was about mid-range.
It's been very good. It does single and double-sided printing, and is very fast.
The inks are available in all supermarkets.
The wifi feature is brilliant. I had to have wifi as I only have an iPad, and I can be on the iPad upstairs in bed and then click on print and the printer downstairs chugs into action! Magic!
The double-sided option is great and saves so much paper. You can print or photocopy double-sided.
Edit. Apparently the WF-3620 has replaced my model, but seems to have the same features.

We have a HP one too and touch wood have never had any problems with it. The cartridges are cheap and it's wireless. I also have my Dad's Epson A3 printer, but haven't got round to setting it up yet as it isn't wireless. I think those two makes are probably the most popular and will always be easy to find cartridges for as a lot of them do for various different models.
We got one of these delivered today https://www.degustabox.com/en/#how-it-works I had a code for the first one for £5.99 so thought I would give it a try. It's quite an interesting concept I guess. Anyhow, the man who delivered it was like "what's in there then?" I should have told him it was a delivery from Love Honey or Ann Summers and watched him:rotfl:

We did have a HP wifi printer that was good, but I lost it in the separation! Scared me though - I didn't even realise it was wifi to start with and was standing near it when FOH sent something to print. The noise really made me jump and he told me there was a fox in the house (the printer was next to an open door). I really thought there was!0

I'm going to go against the grain and suggest a Canon pixma which is easy to set up and I get the cartridges off Amazon. Not sure how the cost per sheet compares to HP as work pays for mine as I do a fair amount of printing. Mines an older model MG5600 but does the trick - the only downside is there's no paper feed so if you're scanning you have to do a page at a time. Double siding etc all fine though. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
