  • Ah right, now it makes sense!

Just had one and it was so yummy I could eat another! :rotfl: I love runny yolk, but I hate any sign of a runny white  Managed to eat it without getting it down my front, just ran down my hands instead! :D
  • Can everyone who has snow, please blow heavily on clouds in a southerly direction? We had 10 minutes of rain, that's it. Where is my white, fluffy stuff?!

No plumber arrived yesterday but a potential new landlord did to look around the flat. He wasn't at all impressed with the dripping ceiling. Somehow I doubt he will be buying...

Thank you for your replies. It was one of my martial arts instructors. So I can't run away from the situation without missing out on something that:

    has given me soft skin
has greatly helped me lose weight
gives me something to talk about with people socially
    has improved my flexibility enormously
has improved my fitness more than anything else I have ever done in my life
inspires people because they think if I can do that, then it is worth them doing something new
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

That is a lot of positives WW. As you say, not worth giving up on for the sake of a throwaway comment. What could you do to help you to face them again?

Right, I can't procrastinate any longer, need to NVQ as I've done nothing since before Christmas. Don't talk to me if I reappear in the next couple of hours. It's silly because it's the last bit of this unit, but I'm really struggling to make myself sit down and finish it.

Pyx - doing the hot/cold thing can negate the need for the aircon service as it "cleans" the system, so,unless it needs regassing, it is a good way to save money by skipping an air con service.

I thought there were also filters that get clogged with dust/pollen etc, that need to be replaced?

    I'm in a clique! It's a clique of one! It's a unique clique!
    I love

  • Modern cars tend to have filters for the air being blown through the cabin air vents, but those should be replaced as part of the normal service schedule, rather than as a specific job relating to the air conditioning.

At least, in the handbook for mine it lists "cabin pollen filter replacement" as an item in the 12,000 mile/annual service.

WW - can you discuss it with him and ask what he meant?

Moo - good luck for interview. Wish me luck as I start the new job I don't want tomorrow as they annoyingly ended up coming back with revised contract, by which time I was annoyed with them but had no good excuse to refuse a relatively decent job and am aware of very miserable attitude at the moment so am giving it a go.

I am looking for new safety boots too - need to support ankles and I want mid soles, so have to be P rated but can be SB or S1, but I want composite instead of steel so they are light, as it makes a big difference when trudging round London and sites all day - any recommendations? Websites don't seem to list composite or steel or weight until you click on each one so hard to identify sometimes which are which.

I am 30 mins above London and we have a reasonable covering of snow this morning (well for here anyway!) but it has all melted now before I got a chance to build a snowman.

    Yea to minions!

I have yet to find a decent pair of boots that don't cripple me. Have an actual hole in my foot at the moment from mine and it hurts! Just makes me think I'm in the wrong profession!
