Sorry about your friend Georgie. Penguin As horrible as it is I can't help but think how much worse it could've been if she'd hit something other than a wall.../Penguin
Code, I hope your stomach calms down soon. I've had an upset stomach for over 2 weeks now and it's really starting to get me down. I wouldn't mind if it was at least making me lose weight but I've put on a lb!!0 -
I've just been informed that I did a little spin in the middle of the office (I walked past someone and realised I need to go back an speak to them, I don't just go around twirling!) and a friend (luckily!) got a peek of my bum! Luckily I always wear big knickers and tights!!Will make sure I spin less speedily in future!
Crumbs! How short is your skirt? Perhaps you're a secret ice skater?
Code, thanks. A lot better I think. Hardly coughing at all, but still a bit catarrhy. I had to go out for a bit yesterday, and felt a bit rough by the time I got home, but some rest cured that. Have been indoors all day waiting for the collection, which still hasn't come, so haven't put it to the test yet.
WaS, it's not your fault! Not at all.(I just lurve spiders!)

Penguin reply to code, Birdie and Izadora
It's a tough one that code. I think for the person involved it's probably better (although my Dad had a good year before things started going downhill, but he had a very positive attitude, so I guess it's how you deal with it) but not for the family perhaps. Although in some cases it might be. Yeah, it's a difficult one that.
Birdie, I totally agree about older drivers. I know an accident can happen to anyone at any age, but even if you are as sharp as a tack mentally, your reactions etc just are not the same.
Exactly Izadora, it could have been so much worse

Good job you had knickers and tights on Birdie! :rotfl:
Have you got that feeling that your collection just isn't going to turn up again Pyxis?0 -
Well, I rang the company re the collection and asked them to check it was really going to be collected. She got onto the couriers, ? Yodel?, and confirmed they were in my area and would be with me soon. Am on tenterhooks.(I just lurve spiders!)

So sorry to hear that georgie xx.
Birdie - how fast were you spinning??
Police baby just called to see how things were. As it's been quiet they're probably going to go ahead with the caution. Tbh I'd be happy with them not even bothering with that if the contact actually stopped but I guess as I've got in touch with them so much they have to do something now!
Even police baby sounds hot on the phone - I need a date, quickly! :rotfl:
Am still in two minds about whether I should actually try and speak to FOH, which I realise sounds ridiculous beyond words considering what's happened but I can't shake the feeling that I need to. Maybe once the dust has settled a bit I could - or am I now not allowed to? Maybe I only want to because I'm not allowed to.0 -
