    Melly,

Please be kind to yourself. This situation did not happen over night. So sadly the solution is not instant. you are very strong as you have made this far.

So don't give up now we are all here rooting for you.

Even more hugs and squishes and handshakes

    Yours

    Calley

Sorry Pyxis, I totally missed that bit about Radio Times and JL, too busy having my little tyre rant! :o

That is terrible customer service off them both. I know you don't like phoning up to complain, but one of the best things to do is to phone up and ask to speak to someone in charge/a manager/a supervisor or something. I sometimes find it's the only way to get something sorted. They've kept you waiting since November. I would also ask for some sort of compensation for your time wasted. (Can you tell I worked in retail for a long time?! :rotfl: )

It was an edit, so that's prob why you missed it.
Well, if they don't collect it today, I shall go ape.

This isn't the first time I've had problems with the Radio Times shop, either. In the past, there have been similar c0ck-ups. Just thought I'd give them another chance. (Radio Times itself is great, it's their 'shop' that isn't). (In the past I did write and complain, but never got a reply).
Trouble is, I'm now wishing I'd asked for my money back, rather than a replacement. :(
Because I haven't been well, I was going to be in anyway, but that's not the point! Supposing I'd given up two days' work to be at home? And now a third day? On Wednesday, I didn't go next door to feed their cat until after 9pm, 'cos I thought if I went within the 9.00-21.00 window, they'd be bound to come when I was next door. Poor moggy! (She had a bowl of dried food!)

    Let's see what happens today.

When I think how brill ordering through Amazon was.....and they text you with a two-hour window, which is great.
    Ditto La redoute. Great delivery/collection.

I can't believe they'd turn the water back on without letting you know so that there'd be someone to check for water straight away!!

For complaints, I usually skip over customer service and go straight to the managing director/CEO. Usually end up getting money off vouchers that way :rotfl:

Arrgh. Sorry about the indoor rain WaS. I'd be asking your landlord for a dehumidifier or new bed.

Feeling a little better but still freezing. Can't even ask for sympathy as it's entirely self inflicted. Having said that, I popped on the scales this morning (for science) and lost 1lb so that's good. I expect it will go back on.
