It was an edit, so that's prob why you missed it.
Well, if they don't collect it today, I shall go ape.

This isn't the first time I've had problems with the Radio Times shop, either. In the past, there have been similar c0ck-ups. Just thought I'd give them another chance. (Radio Times itself is great, it's their 'shop' that isn't). (In the past I did write and complain, but never got a reply).
Trouble is, I'm now wishing I'd asked for my money back, rather than a replacement. :(
Because I haven't been well, I was going to be in anyway, but that's not the point! Supposing I'd given up two days' work to be at home? And now a third day? On Wednesday, I didn't go next door to feed their cat until after 9pm, 'cos I thought if I went within the 9.00-21.00 window, they'd be bound to come when I was next door. Poor moggy! (She had a bowl of dried food!)
    .

Fingers crossed they collect it today. :)

Exactly, that is not the point, it's the principal of the thing. Whether or not you were in anyhow doesn't matter, they let you down again and again. There's obviously a weak link in the system somewhere and for some reason your collection is coming up for them or something. But whatever, if it happens again, definitely complain and like code says, if you speak to someone high up, you usually get money off vouchers or a part refund or something.
  • Big hugs (((Melly))) Definitely have today to try and relax and rest up, a sleep or even a little cat nap does the world of good.

28th of jan. We are very lucky as some of local gps fought to keep the x-ray dept open in the local hospital. As other wise nearly a 50 mile round trip to the big hospital. And hrs traveling to and from. Only a mile up the road.

You are never pathetic far from it.

I hope the fort is warm. got the heating on and snuggled in a blanket and still frozen lol!!!

I too love calvin and hobbes and I think this one is very funny.

My husband cut it out of the paper when its was published in a british paper a few years ago and still has it and still thinks it funny. And so do I.

So much woowoo. Good thing is that everything I eat is shooting out again. Pass the chocolate! :rotfl: The other good thing is that I'm bound to lose weight from all the running to the loo. I used to do this all the time! I don't remember it being an all day event.

Hope you managed to get some sleep melly. You need a rest day. The body can only cope without sleep and food for so long.

    How are you feeling pyxis?

Have the police called back tea?

  • How many laxatives did you take code?

Had some sad news about a friend of my Mam & Dads (not your fault at all by the way WaS) so will penguin it.

My parents have known her for years and she was a lovely lady. She was out driving yesterday and had an episode (don't know for sure what happened yet, but she had Parkinson's so don't know if that's related in some way) at the wheel of her car and crashed into a wall and was killed. She was in her 80's. It's so sad. :(

Just 2. My gut seems to be overreacting somewhat.

Sorry about your family friend. That's very sad.

Edit: penguin That being said, I'd much rather go out quickly like that, than say, die slowly from a terminal illness

That's very sad Georgie although it just reinforces my worry about elderly drivers/any drivers with health conditions. :(

I've just been informed that I did a little spin in the middle of the office (I walked past someone and realised I need to go back an speak to them, I don't just go around twirling!) and a friend (luckily!) got a peek of my bum! Luckily I always wear big knickers and tights!! ;) Will make sure I spin less speedily in future!
