Mind you I am furious and will be complaining to the company as on the labels on the outside of the packet is my e-mail address and mobile number!!!! Maybe its me over reacting or being paranoid but she is the last person on this planet I would want to have either of those.
Not overreacting and not paranoid at all. Who knows who could have got hold of them. I would be fuming too and I'm glad you are going to complain.0 -
Morning all.
After the number of people who've been talking about Dogma, and remembering how much I love that film, I'm going to have to watch it again soon. I'm just hoping that I've still got the DVD as I don't remember seeing it when I moved.0 -

I agree, that's very bad.
I've never heard of Dogma!
(trots off to google..........)
Am really fed-up because I've had some terrible customer services from the Radio Times shop, going on since November. Along with several other problems, today is the THiRD day this week that I will be waiting for a courier to collect a faulty music system. They were due Monday, no show, then Wednesday, no show. As their delivery window is 9.00-21.00 that is no joke.
Then yesterday, for the umpteenth time, got crap service in John Lewis media department, with no one able to answer my questions properly. Given that I could have spent a fair bit of money there yesterday, if I'd been advised properly, I was shocked. I went there, because I wanted to ask questions that are not easily answered on the net. And to be told I could look things up on the net..........if I wanted to do that, I would, then go and buy the thing from Argos! I go to John Lewis when I want good customer service. However, this experience of no information, or worse still, wrong information, has been my experience for the last two years, so I shan't bother any more. What a shame. They used to be such a good shop.
Having said that, the guy in the vacuum cleaner department was very good. It seems to be mainly the computer/media department, although I also had trouble some time ago in the bedding department.
I just don't feel like a valued customer; they make me feel at best like I'm talking Greek, or at worst like I'm a nuisance.(I just lurve spiders!)

I had to google it too Pyxis. I'd heard of it but couldn't remember who was in it and what it was about.
Got to take the 4x4 for some new tyres today. Had taken it to kwik fit before Christmas for one of those winter check things they do. It's meant to check your tyres, your wiper blades, anti freeze and a couple of other things I think. So anyhow, took it in and left it, came back and they're like "it's fine". I was surprised by this because any way they can get money out of you they usually will!
Got back home and D said that no way they could have checked it properly as one of the front tyres is slowly going down like there is a slow puncture and the back wiper blade rubber is literally hanging off! So when I took it to our local tyre place yesterday he told me the front tyre (the one that was going down) needed replacing as it was practically bald! and that the other one wasn't too far behind. When I looked at it closely, even I could see that!
Quite angry at KF really as I've been driving it round like that after they'd told me everything was fine. :mad:0 -

I use to use them when I first started to drive but never again.
I always uses local independents now. I use to get my husband to take my car in as I swear they fob you off being a woman. But now I have to do it myself. Now I have a male lodger might get him to take the car in for me from now on.

Yes, I've got a good local place.
I once went there for something, can't remember what now, and they did it and didn't charge me.....(whatever it was, it was very quick and simple, but even so.....).
I was so pleased, I went and bought a load of doughnuts and gave them to them as a thank you!(I just lurve spiders!)

Pyxis,
What a sweet thing to do.
I remember when I was about 21 I stayed over a friends house. She lived at her parents and my bed was two sitting room chairs pushed together. I had to get up and leave before everyone else. And I left a box of chocs and a note to say thank you for putting up with me.
I got told off by friend for it. But I said that is the type of person I am.

I've got a good local place where we always go to, the mechanic who owns it is a friend. The amount of times he hasn't charged us for small jobs, he's a good lad like that
Very trustworthy, and always busy. That's how he gets his business and return business by good word of mouth.
The tyre place is literally just round the corner from my house and reasonable so I nearly always take cars there for tyres.
I should have known with KF as they tried to rip me off years ago and I've more or less stayed clear of them since. I'd read about this free winter check online and thought it sounded good, but also though 'yeah yeah, it's just a marketing ploy to get more business' and of course, it's a good one because when they do the checks and find a defective tyre or whatever then a fast majority of people are just going to say to put it on whilst they are there. So it makes good business sense.
That's why I was really surprised when they said everything was fine after D told me that he thought one of the tyres had a slow puncture. I was very surprised they hadn't found anything at all as thought they'd want to try and sell me something. I thought maybe they've changed their way of selling and are trustworthy....erm no, they flat out can't have even checked.
The more I think of it the more it makes me angry, and I will be making a complaint. Having worked in customer service for many years, that doesnt phase me at all. Just wondering the best place to do so at? Straight to head office? Because if I go into the shop it'll probably just go in one ear and out of the other.0
