Hmm, after being quite nice about DH this morning and saying that he's not as bad as he used to be, we just had a little fall-out at lunchtime with him going off in a sulk!
:rotfl:
Argument was thus: a month or so ago DH's friend won a raffle prize of a cut & blow dry at a local salon, he cuts his hair at home, his Mum and sister don't go anywhere other than 'their' hairdresser so DH gave him £10 for the voucher which was valid for January. In the envelope was a paper voucher and a business card for the salon/hairdresser. We put the voucher and card out on our unit near the door where we keep 'important shiz' but this moved to another spot when the tree went up. DH has form for 'tidying' and throwing away said 'important shiz' as he hates clutter, even if it's useful clutter. He mentioned getting booked in for this haircut so at lunchtime I looked for the voucher and could only find the business card. I know what's happened, DH has been doing his tidy thing, binned the voucher and kept the card because he probably assumed the card was the voucher. Will he admit this? Will he heck! He just immediately goes on the defence and declares that he hasn't even touched it, there's no way he'd have binned it, 'Not me!!!' which implies, since I'm the only other adult living here, that it must be me. He does this every time. Even when I'm 99% sure I haven't done something wrong if we've lost/broken something, I'll still allow for that 1% of doubt, but he just puts all blame for everything that goes wrong straight onto me! If he'd said, 'Ah balls, I must have binned it when I was sorting the stuff out the other day and assumed the card was the voucher...' I'd have written it off as one of those quirky scrapes that DH gets himself into, it was only £10 and TBH, I don't really need my hair cutting right now anyway, but now that he's reacted this way I'm really annoyed! :mad:Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
