  • Tell WaSp thanks for the info! As much as I don't like snakes, it's always interesting learning new things about different creatures. :).

Hope your face calms down soon, sounds uncomfortable.

How exciting about the armadillo! :j

I think I have drunk to much water.

I have drunk between 2 and half and 3 litres of water in about 5 hrs!!!!

I thought I was being good to clear my bladder out. Seems that it is not a good thing to do. To much water in to too short a time. Can be dangerous.

Off to go and get something salty to help.

    Calley

  • Oops! Yes, Calley have something salty. That is a little too much water at once. Did you know it can give you the symptoms of being drunk if you have too much? I have to drink a lot of water so have a small glass every 30 minutes along with the usual tea and coffee. I still manage to have quite a lot in a day.

Wasp says you are welcome, Georgie! I want to cuddle an armadillo now, I might not be able to wait until November!

I am on the phone to 111 at the moment. They don't seem worried.

I do have a muzzy head. Like a hang over headache. Peeing loads.

Nothing salty in the house. Apart from salt.

But as I can't be 100% sure how much I am off to my husbands to keep on the sofa so someone can keep an eye on me.

  • Oh dear Melly, you too? There seem to be lots of colds around. You need cat cuddles! Say hi to Alan for me!

You should be fine, Calley. You might be up weeing for most of the night but it shouldn't have harmed you. Good idea to stay with your husband just in case, though. Have a banana if he has any, it will top up your electrolytes.

Been there and done that. It didn't help that it was rather warm and the medication I'm on, can cause dehydration related issues. I was away for the weekend, which didn't help.

I, thankfully had some electrolyte tablets on me (you can just use salt) which helped a lot.

Take care and hope you feel better.

Not caught up with the backlog yet Melly - is there any more progress with the housing association or are they still being silly about everything?
