Morning all and a very belated Happy New Year!!

I wasn't reneging on my plan to post more here in 2016, I've spent most of this year curled up under a blanket with a hideous cold and was so busy the two days I did make it into work that I never quite got to the end of the thread. I'm having a much more quiet day here today though so am all caught up.

My brain's still far too full of snot to remember everything that I read though so hugs to those who need them and good luck to those who are job hunting.

Re the coil, my attacks of the hormonal crazies seem to have been a lot worse since I had mine removed last year so it may well be a factor.

Re weight gain, I can sympathise. I've had to raid my bag of 'put them on ebay cos they're too big' clothes (it's just as well I'm lazy and they've been sitting there for about 3 years waiting for me to sort them out) because most of mine don't fit at the moment.

Oh dear! This may have happened to me at some point in the past too :o

How about some Team WaS support? That we actually stick to? Maybe a weekly weigh-in, share recipes and exercise tips? We could do 'Weigh-in Wednesday' each week? I need some butt-kicking since I realised that in order to get to my 'ideal' weight I need to lose 20lbs, which is going to be tough considering that I seem to keep gaining and losing the same 3lbs and can't shift any more! :o

That is an excellent idea! I really need some support and motivation because at the moment I ain't got any!

I was all set to do some exercises yesterday, had my exercise gear on, and what did I do? Watched stuff I'd recorded the day before. :(

So, sign me up, I'm in! :D

Eta: Good point tea. I wouldn't want to do anything that made anyone feel bad.

Ugh tea, I hear you. Popped on the scale this morning, cause yesterday I was half dressed with soaking wet hair as if it makes a difference. Then as I hopped off I realised it wasn't at 0 and I'm actually 3lbs heavier than I thought I was :(

Need to do more of this :j and less of this :EasterBun

I need to get up another 1/2 stone I think she said so I'm just underweight.
She said I would be tired and have a low mood and immunity at my current weight

They sound like fun, but I've read so many things lately that running really isn't the best exercise and infact can be bad for you. My uncle used to run SO much, he became obsessed. Now in older age, he's having to have both knees replaced. That of course could be contributed to a lot of things, but I don't think the running helped.

    Besides, I've decided, I don't want my cheeks sagging....either set! :p

I think I need to start by trying to lose about half a stone.

My poor Mam is full of cold. Sounds like she's been smoking packs of woodbines. :( Touch wood, I haven't had it this year, so am upping the antiviral foam and hoping for the best.

code - I have pathetically thin hair fine hair but I can still convince myself that if it's wet that accounts for at least half a stone :D
izadora - boo to colds! Far too many about right now. Hope you're feeling better soon.
melly - well done on agreeing to be weighed, very brave. Did the GP offer any support with your eating?
welly - hope you and escapette are having fun x. How was your birthday?
georgie - getting the clothes on is a good start! :D
WaS - hope you're doing ok today and managed to get some rest last night. How's the colouring going??
fly - did you make a decision on the job? We're all here if you need to run any ideas past us x.
HBS - I hear really good things about zombies run. Just need to find some motivation now.
    pyxis - thank you x.

Big squishes to all other posters and lovely hummingbirds x.

But the second one's so much more fun!!

I just had a look at my monitor your weight app and I'm exactly the same weight I was at the beginning of Jan last year, when I was determined that I was going to shift the final 2.5 stone I need to lose for my BMI to be in the correct weight category.
I'm quite annoyed with myself because I know I can do it (I lost 5.5 stones about 4 years ago, although have put 1.5 of those back on) but I can't seem to motivate myself for more than a few weeks at a time so spent last year yo-yoing anywhere between a stone lighter and half a stone heavier than I currently am.

It's so hard isn't it? I'd been doing ok-ish for a couple of days but then last night I ate enough pasta for a small village and a pretty big toblerone.
