  • Welly - yay! and noooooo................sunday is not my day!!!! So excited for you.xxxxxxxxx

Pyx - not talking to you **grump** - too jealous - Italy is my heaven!!! If you are anywhere near rome - drive to the hot springs spilling out of the hillside at Saturnia - it was on my bucket list and I finally did it a few years ago and it was utterly amazing. It was about a four hour drive from pisa but so worth it! Posh people pay a fortune to go to the expensive hotel and spa up the road - but locals just walk to the end of the road where the hot water cascades down into naturally formed tiered pools you can sit in and get a free hot water massage.

    Hello Kitty

    {swuishes} to all.............

I am plodding along as usual - spent all of yesterday up a ladder glossing the front of the house........very pleased to have finally got that job done before the winter sets in as I don't think the woodwork would have lasted another winter. Pleased to find out that my fitness has obviously improved a bit as I can manouvere our stupidly large ladder on my own now which means I can get on with other bits without hubby about to freak out about me being up a ladder. Bless him - he tried to get up the ladder yesterday and got to the first floor windows and finally admitted that it really freaks him out.....which I have always known but he has never admitted. Doesn't help that I am happy to swing from the ladder and run over the roof with impunity - it's not that I am blaze about it - but I have worked in construction and a heights for a long time and I have never been freaked out by heights.

Go escapee go....................... I so want a boy!!!!!!

  • Escapee (or now know as Even Littler Sod) update:

Went in to hospital this morning as waters definitely went. Turns out the little monster span round last night after being in the perfect position since day dot, and is now back to back and wonky. Means unless she shifts labour isn't going to be fun as she has trapped the escape route with her head now.
We are now home and working on shifting her back to position.

Got an induction booked for tomorrow if things don't get moving naturally today. Got to be in at least 24 hours after birth to monitor baby due to her being such a monkey and the induction could take 3 days.

Been out with Little Sod on the park to tire him out ready, and usually this gets contractions going, but not today!

How exciting, Welly! I am on the ceiling with your OH! I so,so hope it is an easy delivery and escapee turns round, sending you so many good thoughts and wishes.

Have a wonderful time in Italy, Pyxis!

Hope you have had a lovely day, Kitty!

Thank you for all the suggestions, whitewing! I don't know which to buy, they're all lovely!

Big hugs Melly, I was wondering how you were.

All ok here, I am firmly back in reality so I do I believe that I escaped a psychotic episode which is a huge relief. I also managed roast potatoes and quiche yesterday with no ill effects so my stomach is definitely getting better. I might try some vegetables next week, I just need to find low fibre ones at first. It is wonderful to be able to eat again!

Oh and I have a perfect band of acne from one side of my face to the other right across both of my cheeks. I swear my body thinks it's 14.
