Kitty
You could rescue a cat that can not go out there are some with an illness that should not be allowed out or get a kitten who has never been out,I have two house cats,I took in the mum who was a stray and she got out and got pregnant.Luckily I found homes for the kittens but kept one and she has never been out and never attempts to if I open the door.Even the mum rarely goes out now (i have had both of them "done" ) There are so many cats in rescues I am sure one would rather be with you in your flat.0 -

I am also aware that my tenancy agreement states no petsplus my partner and I work 40hours a week...I know it sounds like I am making excuses but I just want to make sure that my situation is right for a cat before I go and get one.
I wouldn't want to get a cat that has never been out, with the intention of never letting them out...as I believe unless there is a medical reason they should be allowed and encouraged to explore outdoors0 -

It was not my intention never to let them out they could go out if and when they wanted to,the point is mine don't want to,also people who have had their much loved cat squashed by a car might think differently,the outdoors in busy towns and City's are not the safest places for cats.0 -
@Indie Kid oh no
I remember having one years ago and not feeling great...relax with a cuppa and feel better soon

It's a shame you can't get a cat atm, but you're being very sensible about it, and then when you are ready, I'm sure the perfect cat will be right there waiting for you.
I've got the same way of thinking as you regarding cats going out. I feel that unless specified by the rehoming centre, then cats should be allowed out. It's definitely in the cats best interests to let them out to hunt and explore.
Hope you feel better soon IndieI can't believe it's that time of year again already (this year has gone too fast
) and that it's time to get flu jabs again. I'll get mine when I get back from Vegas I think.

I can't believe September is almost done! I am looking forward to proper Autumn though when the leaves go crispy and there's a crisp chill in the air and the snuggly jumpers and scarves. I've just ordered a new pair of boots and in the interests of being MSE I have 2 other pairs that I will take to the cobbler for resoling/reeling. Thick black tights will help with operation girly girl.
Back to work tomorrow. I don't wanna!!Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

I know! it's scary! It now means that when I get up in the morning, (I'm usually up around 6am) it's rather dark.:eek:
Time to dig out the hi vis for running.:(
I seem to be ok now, I think. I was told by the nurse that it can make some people feel a bit poorly.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

I think it makes most people feel a little poorly, and then of course it makes your arm ache too!!
As for nearly the end of September...I always hate these next few weeks as I adapt to the darker days..however...come november/december it sure does feel good when you are inside with a hot drink and a warm blanket and it is dark and cold out!!0
