Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
Police again tea.
Don't answer the door.
Make sure everyone knows he's stalking you0 -
Ok
Getting a bit anxious about the fact I shall have nothing zip nish nafa coming in0 -
tea,
can you ask the police if they think he has somehow got access to your online details?
melly,
can you get citizen's advice to check out your financial situation with you ?:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
Love this, and it is soooo true - thank you all! xxxx
Just seen that I have posted this while tea is having more problems with FOH. Tea, give yourself congratulations and a cuddle for having had the strength to walk away from this relationship, which would have become even more toxic if you'd stayed it in, by the sounds of things! xxxxxEx board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
Emailed a couple of my pet recruitment agents ww hopefully they will pick me something up.
Tea you ok?
Just curled my hair with the curler I wouldn't have bought had I realised I was unemployed it looks nice.0 -
Hope you're ok tea. Can't believe he's still persisting! What a jerk!
Melly, try not to worry if you don't hear back quickly. This is kind of a dead spot between Christmas and New Year and most people won't be in the office until January.
Thanks JM - that's how I feel about all you guys.
Sdw - guessing you're not much of a rocker.
I've noticed in my time that the bigger and scarier a guy looks, the more he's likely to be a big softy. Some of my friends from rock clubs were over 6' tall, built like the side of buildings, had more hair than me and old women would cross the road in fear to avoid, were very gentle and protective, whereas the guy who attacked me was respectable looking in an expensive suit.
John Bradbury also died today (not your fault either WaS).Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
I feel so old, just had a visit from a v lovely policeman but oh my goodness, he must have been about 12! :rotfl:0

I agree with WW Tea, it could be worth checking if he has accessed any of your online things. The timing of everything seems very suss. I hope your baby policeman can sort something for you!
Melly, don't panic yet. Lots of people are on annual leave at the moment so I'd give it at least another two weeks for people to get back to you.0 -
Got em anyway.
Not only was process not followed but the fact my probation date had ended on the 9th and I saw them on the 22nd means it is implied it's completed and they owe me a months notice ha.0
