Oooh enjoy your date Tea! Agree with the others about FOH, my very cynical view is that this is yet another attempt to control you. Even if he was silly and did something to harm himself, it's not your fault, at all.

Hello everyone! Been a bit busy over the last few days so just caught up now Had a lovely Christmas and Baby Bird has enjoyed himself and been very spoilt (by his grandparents rather than us!) so we're now drowning in toys!

We've been sale shopping a little, just a couple of cardis and a dress for NYE for me and a jacket for DH, all stupidly cheap in Tacky Maxx! Nearly talked myself into buying a pair of fur lined Converse today because they were reduced to £50... but then I had a think and realised that if they were £50 normal price I wouldn't buy them so why buy them because they're reduced to that price?!

I echo the others tea, he needs to find his own way now. Just please be careful what you reply to his mum because it seems a bit of a coincidence to hear nothing for a week and then an email to pop up the day you have a date. Might be worth changing your passwords on everything.

I may be being paranoid, but having gone through very similar I know you can never be too suspicious!

Escapette is teething. Everything is going in her mouth. Including the tinsel when we were taking down the decorations. She was having a whale of a time playing with it up until she decided to try eating it!

Having a bath with spiced apple bubble bath I got for Christmas. Usually anything 'spiced' makes me feel sick, but as I have a cold and can't smell anything I may as well get some use out of it!

I agree that the timing seems iffy. Hope the date is going well tea.

Cold has ramped itself up to 90, which feels a bit yucky but also whenever my sinuses get inflamed, they compress on my trigeminal nerve which makes for more pain. Just napped on the couch with DA dog.

Had a dog squabble froo is banned from pork roll as she doesn't eat it, she obsessively guards it, works herself up and then launches at her brother for no reason.

Boo has been loved, pork roll hidden and I am watching ted.

That went well! I think...not sure I've actually been on a date before (my previous MO was get drunk, have one night stand, wait to see if they called).
