Melly I think the advice others have posted makes sense . Forgive a newbie adding their tuppence worth but you can only do your best and with so much to cope with at the moment I'm amazed you're still standing . Good luck and don't fret if it's for you it wont go by you . PxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
There but for fortune go you and I.0 -
Thanks Pollyanna I will be fine.
Always am just getting ready for the first question I will be asked lol0 -
I get that, mellymoo, and in your place I'd be wanting to hang them out to dry. And possibly eviscerate them in the process.. But don't let your anger get in the way of the job hunt. That can come later.
If you need to, you can drop some strong hints in the competency based bits of the interview, without naming the company. You could also gently hint that you'd have been parting company from choice anyway and you don't feel the stated reasons are an accurate reflection of your strengths and abilities. But from a positive perspective of moving on, taking away whatever you've learned (you know the jargon.) It's about getting the balance right. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Evening all,
Hope you are feeling better Pyxis.
I'd be freaked out by the coil too WW, one of the reasons I've never had the guts to get one fitted.
Go Tea! Just treat it as practice, then you can't lose.
I'm still exhausted from the past couple of days. Been playing board games with hubby all day. Escapette has found her voice though and keeps squealing randomly which makes us jump and ruins concentration!
Took Little Sod for a play on the park this morning and he had a great time running through mud. He now stinks, and so does everything else.0 -
Oh dear welly. Did he roll in something that was not mud?
I think the family stuff is done now, at least I hope so. Having bad stomach and lower back pain and my belly is so bloated. I feel sick and dizzy. I think perhaps
trapped wind or constipation maybe? Just feel super uncomfortable. Also, family member has multiple cats which I am allergic to. Forgot my antihistamine and cuddled them anyway, since they are so cute and now stuffy and sneezy with scratchy eyes.
Hope you are feeling better Pyxis.
Unlike the rest of you lot, I quite enjoy a day of doing very little. Feet up, tv on, DA dog curled up next to me, odd nap thrown in. I can while an entire day away like that without feeling remotely guilty. I can see as a long term prospect it's not so much fun and during my last period of unemployment, it drove me nuts, but for a few days, it's bliss. I am very good at doing nothing.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
I'm usually great at it too code, not sure what happened yesterday!0

Ah, bliss, I am still in bed (albeit with blocked ears and a scratchy throat). DH gave littllewing antibiotics at 4am and she is still asleep, sleeping peacefully with some slight colour in her cheeks.
DH is at work, somewhat poorly. I am hoping he will come home early but I doubt it. Then he has a few days off.
I can't do nothing as anytime I sit down at the moment, I fall sound asleep.
We are due to go to aunty's for lunch but it will be a relaxed affair so littlewing can go in her new Frozen pyjamas if necessary.
Anyone hit the sales yet? I have looked online but not bought. I normally get my family Xmas cards in the sales as it saves a lot but I haven't even written a list yet. I hope there will be some left when I finally get out.
ETA: in fact, despite not being well, I am hugely enjoying Christmas.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
I haven't been to the sales as no money til I get paid. I need so many things which I've said I will buy when I get paid that I don't think I'll have any money for a while. Time to sell stuff on ebay I think.
Sorry you feel rubbish ww. I am all snuffly and think I'm getting a cold so may be joining you in the sick bay.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
