What's that then? I wouldn't be able to see through mine if I painted them!

She paints eyes on them so you can sleep through meetings :D

It's the week before Xmas and for the millionth year running, I am feeling sorry for certain (different) members of the family because other family members are so useless with money and selfish with their priorities. So I have turned - yet again - into an enabling fixer, buying extra presents so that we all have a reasonable Christmas. I am so organised, yet every year I end up doing last minute stuff for everyone else.

It isn't all bad though. I don't have to cook Xmas dinner. And littlewing will be spoilt rotten. She is so excited that she just kept warbling, I can't wait, I can't wait.

Oh dear, melly. I don't have the words to make you feel better, I'm afraid...

I hope next year will be much, much better for you and yours.

Please do try and eat something, although I am sure it is the last thing you want to do right now.

Wow this thread moves fast :D I had pages to read since yesterday and not easy with a puppy jumping over your screen :D I was hoping to mention everyone individually, but my memory isn't good enough so I will say a big thank you for the support you all offered and wise words. I feel a lot better today, I was a bit ick yesterday, but he came home from work ok and that eased my anxiety :) I hope it's ok I stick around now :)

I had a really good result this morning, I've been having problems with my carers allowance claim since May, I have to send every payslip in and wait for the panel to assess so it takes ages to get paid, but half hour on the phone this morning and the guy agreed to finally put me on weekly payment, said I was lucky I had him as no one else would do it, made my day. It's my last day off before Christmas so I should be doing loads, I need to get moving.

Tea you sound like such a lovely caring person, sorry you've had to go through this, I think you have to allow yourself to grieve, it may have been a bad relationship, but you had hopes and dreams that it would turn out differently so of course you're going to be upset for a while. So pleased the police were supportive, I hope he accepts it now and you can both move on x

Melly I don't know why you were seeing HSE so big hugs to you if it was unexpected. I hope there is something better ahead for you x

Elsien I've been lurking on the pet forum reading about gitdog, hope the drops aren't too bad. We've found the answer to med taking....jam doughnuts, Tesco are her favourite, goodness knows what my clubcard shopping list looks like with all the doughnuts I buy :D

How old is your little one whitewing? You are very good helping out like that.

Dogs are sleeping so I'd better do some stuff while I have chance :)
  • (((Melly))) Why?? Sorry if you've said and I've missed it. I don't have the words either :( Remember anytime you need to talk, shout, scream, rant, we are all here for you :) x x x

    Awww bless Littlewing :)

Another role sounds like the best move! Although of course you know that there is no way in hell they can get away with sacking you for reporting a reportable incident!
