It got you home safely MU, so that's a plus, especially at this time of year.

    ETA: tea, are you okay?

I hope you are asleep and dreaming beautiful dreams.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

    Your hair looks lovely Melly!

Georgie, don't worry I am vile when I'm tired and say awful things. Learning to curb it a little though.

MU, I can't get my head round how uber works!

georgie, I feel asleep on the sofa tonight too. Sorry about your BIL. sorry also that you feel bad about the remark you made, but I expect your OH will see it in context of your tiredness (maybe even was thinking similarly himself). At least you didn't say it to BIL or MIL. It's one of those in-the-moment remarks that is not worth beating yourself up about.

Yeah it was sorted pretty quickly, the thing that worried me most was he'd barely hung up when the words came flying out of my mouth, so I was worried the BIL heard  But D thinks he hung up just in time.

Seems like a lot of us were sleepy last night! Most have been something in the air? :)

Eta: Looks like there is! There has just been the most massive clap of thunder followed by a couple of seconds of hailstones set a load of car alarms off!

Hope tea has a quiet and uneventful day today.

Yes, Tea methinks it's a day for playing your fave music, watching Xmas films, snuggling with P-cat, and just chilling. :A

    Thanks everyone.
TCA is an acid peel. Have spot peeled some dark patches I have so I am swollen and bruised looking it will be all over in about a week.

    Melly

You look great but you are braver than me with the chemical peel.
I am scared just thinking about it.

    Tea

I hope you are feeling a bit safer today. Have you contacted anyone like women's aid for help or advice?

DDs and son in law came round yesterday and put up the tree and decorations for me and he replaced lots of light bulbs that had burnt out. Much better for my morale now the house feels less gloomy. They also drove me to bigger shops so heavy stuff like turkey crown, special gammon joint, onions, potatoes, carrots, parsnips are all safely put away for later this week.

    Hugs to all (gentle)
