I'm from a galaxy far, far away, obviously! :D

Everywhere I've lived in Bristol has been on the opposite side to Longwell Green - Cotham, Stoke Bishop, Patchway ...

Spiders are EVIL!! Nothing needs that many eyes... why do they need to see me from eight angles?? Freaky things.

And why do they they think I'm evil just because I'm different from them?"

This orangutan finds human magic tricks hilarious! Watch for the moment when the realisation dawns! It's amazing!
(I just lurve orangutans, to pieces e-vern!)

Left house at 6am this morning and trudged round London doing construction site inspections, finally got in at 6pm, and still reports to write up. Sigh............am not sure this new job was a good idea.......
  • D showed me that video last night Pyxis! It's so funny, especially the moment when it clicks with the orangutan and it seems like he's thinking "ha that's clever!" I made him play it again because it cracked me up! :rotfl:

Sorry you thought the interview didn't go as well as expected code. :( Who knows, it might have gone better than you thought?

Hope you managed to eat something (is weighing a good idea or a bad one? does it help or would it trigger?) and that you sleep tonight, i'm sorry you've been through so much recently *gentle squishes*

tea...what you been up to missy? drink can sometimes make us do things that seem like a great idea at the time, not so great the morning after. *hugs*

I've just got back from work  i'm currently stressing mysef out over the dreaded xmas/new year rota. Its not out yet but ive heard people saying they;ve taken absolutely no notice of what people said they could work. Which is gooing to royally !!!! me off if im down for boxing day or new years day. Theyknow i'm going to Swains for xmas and new year. they no there is no public transsport on either of those days (which is why i didnt put myself down to work them), i also asked for earlier finishes on xmas eve/new years eve so if they;ve put me down for lates lets just say it could cost them up to £200 for taxi fares if i ended up working several of them......which will be my arguement if they;ve put me down. It will cost them more in taxi fares to get there and aback than it would paying me for my shifts. :rotfl:

I've decided i'm not allowed to stress about it until i actually see said rota...theres no point getting worked up (she says after ranting)

Catch up on thread time... :)

    Morning everyone!

I'm struggling to keep up with this thread, it moves so quickly!

I'm working today as it's a team meeting and Christmas drinks. Bit nervous as I haven't met everyone yet so it will be a lot of new people all at once. I could finish at lunch time if I want, but going to try and force myself to stay on and socialise with people.
I always feel very self conscious though and like people laugh at me behind my back, wonder how I got the job etc.

Family member left the dv relationship last week, handed her notice in at work ready to move back to family. Now seems she has gone back to the relationship. Not sure how much more worry people can cope with.
