Anyone with experience of job agencies? I was put forward for a job, they asked for more info and I was told they want to move quickly, gave the extra info the next day. Not heard from them in almost a week. I presume that means they're not interested?Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

I'm not wet - for once it's not raining. In Glasgow. Imagine that - but I am cold and p'd off

Could be. Or could be that there isn't actually a rush but they always say that to sound important. Or it might be that they've sent the info to the employer and not heard back from them. Or there might only be one person dealing with it and they're off sick.
Or other reasons! With agencies it definitely pays to be the squeaky wheel... that daily irritation they work hard to find a decent job for just to shut them up :rotfl:.0 -

Hmm not sure if it'd be my thing then? Maybe for one drink, but it sounds like it maybe could be sickly after a few?
I'm gonna have to start wrapping some stuff up, it's starting to resemble a warehouse in here at the moment!
Then need to dispose of all the boxes, which has been made harder than it should be because of some numpty (being polite there!) putting meat in the cardboard recycling bin in two different locations, which means the council have taken every single one of them away. So now we have to go to the tip instead.0 -

If you drink it neat, yes. It's a bit like Baileys in terms of texture/creaminess - sip at it for ages.
But with lemonade it's more refreshing.
Obviously it'll keep forever though. I'm sure most people have a bottle in the cupboard that's been there a decade because they only break it out for 1 or 2 at Christmas :rotfl:Aqua 0/1850 Cap.One 0/450 Vanquis 0/500 HSBC 0/100

I used eggnog in one of my pumpkin pies, it was delicious!
I have my dress and leggings, Code! They are so cute and fit really well.
Hugs and squishes to our poorlies today, I hope you get on ok at the doctors ono and that you are feeling better soon Flybaby. Keep getting better Faerie and I made a cosy corner of the fort for you Birdie. Put your feet up Lex!
Wooo I have everything I need for stovies right here! Thank you, code! I shall be celebrating tonight!
I have yet another yeast infection under my arms. It is always the same place and seems to happen once a month. I do take permanent antibiotics which is likely the problem but I wish it would stop, it is very sore each time. It goes again after using cream for two days but it's annoying! I can cope as long as it doesn't start happening anywhere else *cough*, that would be time for a medication review. I am contemplating living off yoghurt to see if it makes a difference.
Yes, advocaat keeps forever, the bottle I have is 18 months old. Despite containing eggs the alcohol preserves it so it's fine to just have a couple of snowballs now and again.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Meh. I'm not that bothered. For a start, I have no businesses dress - first rule of IT: dress like a student at all times - and nothing in my wardrobe fits anyway. Just been and bought a cheap pair of jeans in a 14 so hope they fit. Confused as the jeans that were too baggy on Saturday are a bit tight today even though my weight hasnt changed.
Its just annoying that the guy was pretty much phoning and emailing me everyday before and now he's silent. I don't care enough to chase it up.
My parents definitely have a sticky bottle of advocaat in their drinks cupboard. I don't though. Is that something I need for Christmas?
That's really annoying Georgie. I've finally managed to find a hiding place for my presents but probably need to start putting them together soon.
Ww - I need a present for a 1 year old girl for around £20. Any ideas? I think that's my last present to buy.
Edit: nope. Also need something for an 82 year old man who doesnt like anything.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
My trousers are held closed (barely!) with a hair band today. The really shameful part is I don't even care :rotfl:.0

Something like this might be good Code
It has DS's favourite features, it has balls (which are the best thing ever!) and it has holes to put things in. One of DS's favourite games consists of a clear tub of ball-pool-balls, he empties the tub so the balls go everywhere then gathers them all up, then he starts again! Repeat ad infinitum.
