Or, like mine, run into the snow, wag tail furiously. Stick nose in snow. Plough snow into a pile. Eat snow. Dash about in snow. Eat more snow.

Sounds like mine, with added roll-in-snow! Love the photo :)

And a meh from me. I am an old fat lump who cannot stop eating. Trying desperately to not head back to an ED.

    Doctors tomorrow. Please send hugs.

(Sorry I've been a complete @rse lately everyone. Hope I'm not bringing you all down :'( )

Time of year HBS - I always OD on carbs and comfort food in the darker months.
Any making a doctors appt. is a positive step. Any specific triggers we might be able to help with?

I'm pleased with myself today - my NVQ certificate arrived. Only two more units for the diploma.:D
Although having said that, if the proposed consultation suggestions happen, it might be obsolete by 2017 anyway.
Speaking of NVQ's, are you still around and ok Melly? Not seen you for a while although I've been skim reading more of late.

He wasn't even on the leash when I took that (sorry elsien!). When he's done sniffing, he likes to trot along beside me occasionally looking up with a happy doggy grin.

Hugs hbs. I haven't noticed you being an @rse. Don't be so hard on yourself. Bear in mind that with the onset of winter your body will be calling on you to build fat to get you through the winter so you'll want to eat more. I know that doesn't help much. Good luck at the doctors.

Gitdog has yet to meet proper snow, at least since he crashlanded at mine.
I'm dreading it - he's guaranteed to be a plonker and pull me over, so I'm just hoping I still bounce.

  • Thank you. It's even worse that my friend has lost 3 stone seemingly easily on Slimming World, but I tried her exact diet for a few weeks and put on 2kg. Nothing seems to be working :'(

I just feel like I don't deserve anything nice because I am fat.

Grr - finally got @rse into gear and did some work and a big chunk of it didn't save properly so I have to do all that thinking again.

HBS - you deserve pretty flowers, and (no calorie) cake and beautiful sunsets and unicorn dust :p.
  • Thinking hurts! It is bad for you! ;)

    *dances in sparkly unicorn dust*

On a happy note, I did get to discharge a fire extinguisher at work, which is always fun. And I indulged my little crush on one of the engineering chaps by having a talk to him about console gaming :D

  • Finally got up to Gretna to do some Christmas shopping! :) Am v chuffed with my bargains! D's coffee maker, £129.99 online, £76.99 in the Tefal shop, then because it was the last on show, I asked if she'd discount or throw anything in. She said she'd give me some coffee, but as I told her, you get that anyhow in the box, so she knocked a further 10% off! plus two packs of coffee! D used to be embarrassed when I'd ask for money off, but now he's more savvy to it....they can only say no!

Also got a pan set, £74.99 in Argos, I got them for £35! Also got some lovely candles for gifts....and myself :p

Managed to get D's magazine subscription with Tesco double up on points and saved £20. I love a bargain! :rotfl:

Handy for clearing your paths! You should rent him out! :p
