This website has some really good gifts in it at reasonable prices. You may have missed it because it is similar to other museum catalogues. Tell WaSp to have a browse for you too, WaS.

WaS, I think being sick of being tired is a reason most people feel they can't go on. It has always been a feature for me at my worst.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
Hi All! I've lurked on your thread for ages and you all seem like a lovely bunch of folk, so I've decided to come out of hiding and try to mingle with you all.....
I'm hoping that this will be a wee refuge for me and I'll make sure that I always bring biscuits for the fort!0 -
Did someone say pints of coffee.... I'm in.
That made me laugh because it sounds so disloyal to tea! :rotfl:Disorganised_Me wrote: »Hi All! I've lurked on your thread for ages and you all seem like a lovely bunch of folk, so I've decided to come out of hiding and try to mingle with you all.....

:hello: welcome, Disorganised! Ha ha, you can be organised enough to remember biccits, then?I will remember to bring... an appetite for biccies!
Thank you for explaining, WaS. I do hope the psychosis will retreat a bit now you don't have to 'be there' so much and be in main coping mode for WaSP. How is his foot and BP?
Hugs and squishes for all are available from that big pink fluffy cupboard next to the fort! xxxxxxEx board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -

Disorganised_Me, I am so glad you have come out of hiding. You user name is just perfect for the comment I was about to make:
This morning, I was late for work. Part of this was because I had to try on 5 pairs of tights before I found a pair that were intact enough to wear. The worse thing being that I knew they were holey, I had put them back 'just in case'. 'Just in case' I was already pressed for time, I guess!
So I am going to have a Jingle Bell Fling between now and the end of November.
Jingle Bell, jingle bell jingle bell fling...
Jingle Bell chuck as you jingle bell sing....
Snowing and blowing up bundles of dust
A pre-Christmas refresh (change this word pyxis) is a must...
Feel free to join in, jingle bell rockers!:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
Before you go mad throwing tights out, though, WW, you do know that if you cut off the bad leg of 2 identical pairs you can wear them on top of one another so you have 2 good legs, right? xEx board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0

Welcome to the chaos room!

By the way, who needs Lennon-McCartney?
It's Whitewing-Pyxis!..................
(Sing to the tune of 'Jingle Bell Rock')
Jingle Bell, jingle bell jingle bell fling...
Jingle Bell chuck as you jingle bell sling....
Snowing and blowing up bundles of dust
A pre-Christmas purge is a must...
Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell toss,
Jingle Bell clear out Jingle Bell dross,
Dancing and prancing in a tidied-up room,
It's the Christmas clean-sweep broom!
It's the right time
For this bright time
To see what's in those drawers!
Jingle Jing, don't wait 'til Spring,
With cleared-out cupboards you can close their doors! Come on and
Giddy-up, jumble horse, pick up your feet,
De-clutter that boxroom now!
All that junk, go on! It's all got to go!
That's the Jingle Bell, Jingle Out-Throw,
THE Sling-Fling-Jingle Bell CHUCK!
It's the right time
For this bright time
To throw some stuff away.
What the hell, give away or sell,
Let's go driving to a table sale! Come on and
Giddy-up, jumble horse, pick up your feet
And donate that broken clock, (t'tick, t'tock, t' boing! t'ck!)
Bric...a...brac you'll not be needing again,
That's the Jingle Bell, Jingle hea-ven,
The Sling-Fling-Jingle Bell CHUCK! :T
(Funnily enough, we were singing the original version at AmDram yesterday!)
This is pretty much the four-part version we've been singing!

Whitewing and Pyxis, do not make me create a naughty corner of the fort for you two. It's still November. You may caroll (is that how you spell it, doesn't look right) on Tuesday.
I am a grump today. Feeling very rebellious. You can tell because I am wearing lots of eyeliner and biker boots. I don't want to do stuff today so am doing it at the last minute and only when pushed to do so. Of course, the pushing is making me more rebellious. At this rate, by the end of the day I'll have joined a motorcycle gang.
Also DA dog is in the doghouse. It took only 2 days of Mr CP staying at home with him for him to switch his allegiance and now he isn't interested in cuddles from me.
Speaking of DA dog, I've designed a tattoo about him to go on me. Last winter, I took a photo of our footprints in the snow - my footprints and his paw prints alongside one another. That's what I want. Not sure whether to do it now, or save it for when he's no longer with us.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Also, hello Disorganised_Me.
And JM I totally do that with tights.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

.
It's not a carol, it's a Pre-Christmas Clear-Out Song! Wot we rote ourselves!
Guaranteed to jingle up procrastinators! I've been feeling a stirring just singing it to myself!
(Anyway, in AmDram, we've had to be singing blimmin' Xmas songs for the last three weeks!:( Why should I be the only one to suffer so!)
