Thanks for the link - just googled as I'd not heard of healthy minds before. There is one, but it seems the person needs to accept there's a problem to make use of the services, which isn't the case for ER.
There is an out of hours mental health helpline - as ER doesn't have any sort of diagnosis, either mental health or physical, do you think they'd be likely to get involved?

Maybe print off the list in this article and ask the GP/hospital or whoever exactly what has been checked so far:

    Piggles, I do apologise. :o
I didn't realise you'd had a cat for ages before.

Now you've said it though, I do have a vague memory of reading that.

Anyway, I'm sorry and hope I didn't irritate you too much!

*runs in to give everybody squishes*

Work has been suspiciously easy the last two nights......me thinks this is the calm before the (christmas) storm so i'm enjoying it whist i can.

I get to dress up on friday for children in need! I'll be wearing my zebra onesie and some pudsey ears :)

Spent a good 20 minutes earlier with a customer....she has health problems and when she first came in didn;t look well at all, she kept apologizing for taking so long and i reassured her it was no bother, she pretty much gave me her life story, but the way i see it, what if i'm the only person she's talked to all week? what if nobody else has listened to her? She was talking about how people can be so judgemental and look at her and say she doesn't look ill, and i opened up (maybe a bit too much but what the hell) about having bipolar and having experienced the similar attitudes from people.

  • Aw, how sweet of you, MU. I bet the woman really appreciated the time you gave her. Are you feeling better now?

Someone tell me to take this out of my basket and step away from Amazon please. I love Fuzzy Felt.

Hahahaha! Glad to help! It has over 40 pieces to make a complete scene! It's my birthday in a couple of weeks...Oh, WaSp, you know you wanted to know what to buy me....?

It's 4.30am and I can't sleep because I have the opening jingle of Windows operating system starting up repeating in my ears. Really, brain? Guess who just ran around checking my laptop and WaSp's PC in case they were faulty? I hate psychosis, please let me sleep.
