Is the MPD/DID documentary online, WaS? I'd like to watch that.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

Here you go, whitewing. The woman (who was the host, ie:main personality) reminded me a lot of myself, she has a very similar personality to me and her young ones are similar to mine. Whether that's coincidence or not, I don't know. Please be careful anyone that watches it because it appears to investigate the trauma she went through that caused her to develop it. I stopped it at that point, it's too close to home for me. There are 4 parts and at the end of each video it links you to the next one.

Welly, platinum blonde is really difficult to achieve at home if you have any warm tones in your hair. You have go bleach the crap out of it, and then tone it, possibly more than once, making sure you don't overdo it and give yourself a blue rinse, then use a violet/silver shampoo to stop it from going brassy and 2 weeks later, your roots are poking through and it's time to do it again. Last time I did it, it took me weeks, I never got to platinum but I did end up looking like plus size Barbie. I gave up when I used my straightners and a chunk of hair just snapped off. Luckily it was at the front so I just swept it into my side fringe. Ended up dying it dark using protein fillers to get my hair to take the dye. Two years later and my hair hasn't quite recovered.
If you do want it done, I'd suggest having a hairdresser do the initial bit so you don't fry your hair. Then you can do the maintenance yourself easily enough.
Watching rugby. I can't shout at the TV too much as DA dog hates shouting and doesn't like swearing.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

Just spent three hours looking at the video and a few others it is fascinating. There is another lady who is classed as blind but when her other personalities take charge she can see much better even though she has physical damage that she has had from birth! does your voice sound childlike when Lucy comes out?0 -
It's been a long time since Lucee popped out (I think!) but yes, she used to have a childlike voice and vocabulary and childlike mannerisms. I am co-concious which means unless I am very unwell I don't lose time anymore and my others mostly don't come out entirely, we share the body. I tend to stay mostly in control but my others can move 'near' to me. If it's Lucee I will suddenly feel nearer to the ground and my surroundings will feel very tall, which can mean I can fall over because the whole perception of my height and step width changes. I also feel much lighter physically and have a sudden urge to play with toys or even skip and sing. Most of my others ask if it's ok before they move close to me so that it doesn't catch me unawares but Lucee being 6 often forgets or is too excited over something to think of it.
In the inner world we have a huge theatre. The real world that we see is represented by the stage, I am always at the front and closest to the stage. The others stand further back which means they can see out but not influence what the body is doing. When one comes near me they stand close behind me so that they can see the world more clearly and influence how I feel a little. Lucee will stand right next to me hence the strong affects on the body. On occasions when I have been very unwell, Cas has pulled me back from next to the stage and stood ahead of me. She then takes over the body and I am the observer. This is a co-concious set up though which not everyone with DID has, we had therapy to get to this point.
There are quite a few cases of people with DID having different physical conditions to their others. A common one is adults with high blood pressure might find that it drops to normal levels if a young one comes out. It causes chemical changes within the brain and that can affect the body, too.

WaS, always find the whole thing very interesting.
Anyway my house guests have arrived.
I now have a rabbit running around the living room. All cables are off the floor or behind a box. And he can jump in and out of his cage himself. So I will when in the room just leave the cage door open so he can hop in and out as he likes. I am sure I will find some wee or poo somewhere at some stage :rotfl:as well as having loads of sawdust everywhere LOL!!!!

He is a single maned lion head rabbit. A smokey grey colour.
I might seriously think about getting a rabbit after this. But will see how the week goes first of all.

Dogs are really good for hoovering up rabbit and guinea-pig droppings in the house! I speak from experience!
DA dog sounds like a very well brought-up dog to me!
Still a bit chesty, but feeling better. Stayed in bed this morning, then ventured out for half and hour up the road for some treats and to get some sun and fresh air. Didn't feel too good while I was out, but back in bed with the treats helped.
I've depleted the freezer of ready meals while I was in bed, so thought I might as well turn it off and let it defrost. It's an ill wind!
It's done and back on now.
I wonder how Georgie is getting on in Vegas?
Today I've been watching a lovely period series on TV, on Drama, called The Cazelets, about an extended family in the first years of WWII, with some fantastic actors in it, eg Hugh Bonneville and Anna Chancellor. Apparently it aired on BBC1 in 2001. I couldn't understand why I didn't remember it, at all! The only thing I can think is that it clashed with other things I was recording on my video at the time. Seems strange I really don't remember it, though, as it's just the sort of prog I like to watch.
Ah! Just had a thought! Perhaps it only aired as a regional series? Still seems strange, though.(I just lurve spiders!)
