    WaS, MU,

I know I need to take a massive step back. I sort of knew. As he would sometimes say how I was gorgeous and beautiful etc. And call me love etc. But I would tell him off and say don't talk to me like that.

But last night not sure why the conversation on-line turned the way it did, he said a lot more than he has ever before.

I have told him that its only because he does not like his life and sees me as some sort of fantasy. And well you don't want the reality as it would never measure up.

And you are right I don't need the grief or hassle.

Mu naughty naughty about the meds. Husband had to get a emergency supply last week due to the script not turning up at the chemist!!!

What is it with me I seem to attract men who really are not mentally well enough or ready or I want to be in a relationship with!!!

  • Well done on braving getting your meds, MU! Good luck at the doctors next week too.

I can't find Pokemon baby clothes either, how weird. I shall keep looking.

As you say, Calley if your friend is in a difficult relationship he is likely to be fantasising about something that could be better for him right now. I do think you need to take a step back though because it could get very messy for you. I am sorry that happened, not only is it incredibly awkward I know that you appreciated him as a friend.

  • *hugs* I've lived with partners who are lazy, and those who are having MH battles, and those who simply don't care if the place is disgusting. Atm I'm seriously considering never living with a partner again - or at least it would an awful lot to convince me now. Cannot STAND when people leave all the work to one person, and its usually (though not always) the woman.

Makes me so angry I have kicked one person over the issue. I'm not even that fussy about it, until they dont bother.

Welly - no wonder you are aching and exhausted and feeling overwhelmed, its a period of massive upheaval and I doubt anyone would be able to cope with it without stress. But you will come through it :)

I agree about Waitrose. It isn't always expensive, especially since they do a price-matching thing. Plus their meals are generally tasty, and I've bought cheap meals elsewhere that I haven't enjoyed and/or binned, so that's hardly money-saving. It's all trial and error, though. I like Waitrose because it's calmer, but most of all because I can use the handheld self scanner that you use as you go round the store. This means you can pack as you go round. I absolutely loathe having to unload a trolley at the check-out, then bag everything up again, so the handheld scanning system is brilliant for me.
I don't get everything there, though. Somethings I get from Sainsbury's, some from the Coop. And occasionally some things from M&S, particularly a couple of their beers. I do sometimes go to Asda too, and I BLAME WaS, 'cos she started me off on the banana bread beer! :D
I tried Lidl again recently, but I didn't like the food I bought. :( It got binned. :( yuk!

WaS, here's a link to 4 x 425g cans of pure pumpkin for £9.99 plus postage. That's near enough 4lbs of pumpkin.

I can't remember if you have a freezer. If you do, why not buy lots if pumpkin, prepare the flesh and freeze it?

I think making your Hindu friend a pie is a lovely idea!

Code, I think you're absolutely justified in getting annoyed with OH. There's nothing worse than slogging away at things that have to be done while the other person lounges around. Correction, there is something worse than that........it's when you're slogging away while feeling unwell and with a bad back!
I'm really angry with him myself, I can tell you!

Thought I was getting better, then found I wasn't, so am still in bed. Feel a bit better than earlier on today, which is galling as I've missed an important meeting this morning, and a prepaid workshop this afternoon. :(

    MU,

I think this is a dog costume but may be adaptable

Failing that, I wonder if you could buy an appropriately-sized stuffed toy, unstuff it and adapt it so that the child can breathe!

My waitrose use to be a somerfield. Its only little and not sure the local town would use it. But its still there 4 years on.

Make sure you get a mywaitrose card free coffee!!! I had the card over a year and never bothered to get a coffee I know. Also now you get to pick up to 10 items to get an extra 20% off.

Thanks to the grocery board ended up putting something on my list I would never normally buy. It was 18 pack of bold 2in1 capsules. Normally £7 a pop yeah like I would ever pay that. But they were on offer at 2 for £6 and then 20% off, so £1.60 a box. Bought 16 boxes over a few days gave 8 to husband and kept 8 for myself.

Easier for my husband than powder. we both have approx a year and bits supply at a couple of washes a week :rotfl:

I like waitrose as they call me madam in there. And if I carrying a lot in my arms get asked if madam would like a basket?

Oh if you have any tractor amd girls or boys they do a big iced tractor biscuits for £1.60 bought for my dad and brothers birthday and they liked them.
