Right I have 5 mins before the madness begins.

Spoke to GP about ED not much use. BRAVE called yesterday to check I didn't need them to shout at the police and their genius coming to my home plan.

Have to redo OHS PIP which was exhausting last time but he now has healthy minds and stuff so hopefully be a bit easier.
HA only acknowledged the level 2 complaint I made on 29th Sept yesterday when I chased it been busy apparently.

I managed some homemade kashmiri curry last night not much but better.

    Fly good luck for interview
Welly your doing so well escapette is lucky to have you

Glad you some to the GP Melly even if you felt it was no use. In what way wasn't it helpful?

Escapette hasn't slept since 1.30am! Hubby then stated snoring loudly at 5am. Murder is fine under these circumstances, right? I'm wide awake but running too late to get to the walk this !morning. Unless she starts sleeping soon I will miss everything!

I'm sure she'll settle into a routine welly. In 12 years you'll be struggling to get her out of bed.

I am in a take no prisoners mood today. Yesterday an old schoolfriend I have on Facebook posted about something and I responded to it offering advice - we'll say it was an IT thing. So I responded with advice. Later I logged on and saw someone after me had told her to do the wrong thing which wouldn't work and could lead to the dreaded blue screen of death so I clicked on the post to advise against it. Then I noticed that she'd totally ignored my post and commented on ones above and below, so I thought, screw you, deleted my advice, decided I wasn't boosting her friend count anymore and nobody gets to treat me like that and that she adds no value whatsoever to my life, so I unfriended her. Normally I feel bad when I do that but she can do one. I am sending blue screen vibes her way.

Also when DH came upstairs I had a go at him for blaming me for the dog and told him off too.

The workman is late despite saying he'd be here at 9.30. If he wasn't terrified of me before, he will be now. I'm off to pee in his mug.

Nobody annoy me today or I'll tell you all off in my best grumpy terms.

If anyone needs me, I'll be in my bin being grouchy.

And as nobody has responded (did my huff scare you all away?)

    And furthermore

I shall continue to post grumpy animals on a half hourly basis until someone makes soothing noises at me and/or gives me chocolate.

  • I shall send hugs and soothing noises, code, but please keep posting the animals as they are so cute!!

I have been off work poorly. I wish I hadn't come back. I still feel crappy.

If you find chocolate Code, feel free to share!

Just had a mad panic, thought the baby was turning in to a zombie. Turns out trying to make jam on toast, one handed, whilst holding a baby wearing a white babygrow leads to some sort of zombie baby Halloween costume.
Think she may need a bath before she starts attracting wasps!

MIL is coming up in a bit to keep me sane. Might send her out for chocolate
  • Good morning all! You lot do make me giggle.

Go you, code! Take no prisoners and give everyone what for! Has your workman turned up or is he cowering in the shed, afraid to come in? Boo to OH being a grump and you don;t need friends like that one!

Hope zombie escapette is no longer a wasp attractor, Welly! Definitely send MIL out for chocolate!

Glad that you are feeling a bit better, Dragonette!

    Feel better soon, HBS!

Well done on the food, Melly! I know that must have been very hard for you.

Good luck for the interview, Flybaby!

The alarm fitters turned up and needed to come in with no warning! Just a yearly check to make sure the fire alarms were working but notice would have been nice! I hid in the bathroom and now I am all shaky and unnerved.

Yay WaS. Have you seen the baby kittens found thread on the pets part? No penguins there, except some minor peril in the beginning, then only much cuteness and happy updates after that.

Workman is here and being workmanlike. I did give him stern teacher look though. :rotfl: DA dog keeps trying to escape and find out what all the noise is about. I feel like I'm kidnapping him, keeping him locked up in here with me, poor thing.

Love zombie Escapette. I think you've got her Halloween costume sorted.

This renovation thing is proving expensive. I bought my lovely cabinet, and then I decided I needed new curtains, and new blinds. I actually do need to replace those - DA dog wrecked the existing blinds and there are no curtains there.

And the next phase kicks off at the beginning of next month so we will need a new carpet and other things to get that part in order. Then we are tackling the spare room/dumping ground, decorating and recarpeting it and replacing all the furniture so if one of us is restless we don't have to sleep on the couch. On top of that DH is making noises about going to Christmas markets in Germany or Poland for a few days in December. We went to the one in Prague a few years ago and had a brilliant time wandering around the markets, eating yummy grilled sausage and drinking mulled honey wine. I'd love to go to New York for Christmas one year. Anyone know the winning lotto numbers for tonight? :rotfl:
