I learned a new word at the weekend, "threenager", as applied to my three year old niece.
It was very appropriate with all the huffing and puffing and theatrical folding of arms that was going on!Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230 -
Poor threenager. :rotfl: I actually really like them at that age. I like kids up until they turn 7ish when they stop being cute and are annoying until they're 24.
I hope you were teaching her bad words and giving noisy/messy presents.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

How frustrating, Georgie! At least it is done now and you can relax a bit hopefully. When does the holiday start?
.codemonkey wrote: »Georgie - it's a couple more days until this part is done. Then there's another bit, which I told this contractor he could do but he was really negative so I got someone else to do a quote and he was more enthusiastic and much cheaper so I'm going to hire him instead. I feel bad about that actually. When do you leave for holibops?
?
Flying tomorrow at 9.15am. At the Travelodge near Manchester airport now. Just had something to eat and a JD and coke, needed a drink after rushing around this morning!
I'll have a pocket sized WaS too please! You're such a good friend to everyone WaS and offer such great advice.
The work will be over before you know it code, and it'll be worth it once it's done I'm sure. Our neighbours got some work done (not sure what) and just left the workmen a key and went off on holiday! As much as I don't like workmen in, I don't think I'd be happy leaving them unattended. :eek:0 -
Faerie, sorry to hear you're still struggling, hang on in there (((hugs)))
Melly, hope your doing ok?0 -
Ok
Will post later
Sorry0 -
Have a lovely time Georgie!
Faerie, is your friend still playing for counselling for you? That should help you until you get something else in place. It might be worth looking at sources of support other than cpn anyway. Even if you were given one there is nothing to say they would be as good as your last one, and based on my experience from my cpn, they are time limited now. You would be unlikely to get one for such a long time these days unless you are engaging with other therapy or support too.
I've been sorting escapettes room out this afternoon while she snoozed along to some hair metal. She still prefers GnR but seems to like other metal bands too.
Theres a walk on at the children's centre tomorrow I could go on if mil can give me a lift. Starts at ten again though0
