IPv6 .... Everywhere on the Internet has an IP address, it's the way stuff knows where it's going. All that website URLs do is get converted into an IP address, so forums.moneysavingexpert.com has an IP address of 162.13.48.95. Problem is that notation (known as IPv4) only supports 4 billion or so different locations and they are running out - it has been known that this was inevitable for many years. So a new notation was needed, which is called IPv6. This has enough addresses for every grain of sand to be uniquely addressable and a great deal more besides, but a lot of ISPs don't support it yet so the bits of the internet which are IPv6 only aren't reachable from them.

    evening my lovelies,

feeling low and don't know why. have over eaten and now having a mini binge.

Someone is playing silly uggers and trying to get me to admit to something that I have not or ever likely to do, by pretending to be someone else!!! Don't ask, but how stupid do you have to be for me not to know by tone and content of messages that its someone else.

I feel lonely tonight even though I have spent most of the day with my husband.

Also got asked this morning if I wanted to be a FB by someone 10 years my junior. Not flattered and makes me feel even more rubbish and lonely and not good enough.

No work for next week. Have enough to pay the bills next week. have food in and fuel in the car.

Feel like a big fat looser this evening.

    Yours

    Calley

Hi guys, just checking in.. I spoke with the mental health team today, with my friend and it didn't go well, as I knew it would.. She didn't even ask me how I was, do a risk assessment, nothing, and my GP still hasn't called either.. I knew what she was going to say, which is that they won't help me.. It's going to be at least a year apparently until I get a place at the BPD and trauma centre. I told her I need a cPN and the crisis team, but she refused telling me to wait til I get to the trauma centre. My friend lost his rag with her, but it didn't make any difference.. It's really brought me back to a place of hopelessness..I know the nhs and mental health has been cut, but it cruel leaving me with no support, as they know what I have on my plate..so not a good day :(
Many thanks to all who contribute on MSE :)

Sorry you're feeling bad Calley and that you've not had a good day, and sorry faerie that you're also feeling bad and that the appointment didn't go well.

i'd offer hugs but i;ve come down with a stomach bug. It cam on as i started work, as soon as i realised i had um, diarrhea i told my supervisor but i'm worried because i did serve a customer (before i had to rush off to the loo) and when my supervisor was on the phone to a manager i heard her say she'd have to inform the area manager so now im scared i'm in trouble. I was feeling run down and had stomach ache but its a busy friday night so i felt i'd try and work through the pain and grogginess but im thinking i should have told my supervisor straight away that i was feeling ill. I'm just so scared of taking time off, not just cos of the loss of money but cos with the bipolar ive already had more sick days than i should have. There does seem to be a bug going round work. One of my managers was off for a week, and someone i worked with the other day is off sick. Swain said i should have come to his so he can look after me but i told him i dont want him getting ill too (plus it would involve public transport and if im infectious thats a bad idea ll round)

    Feel like utter crap :(

I would just like to say that I am very glad indeed that it's finally the weekend.

Would now be a good time to declare my childhood addiction to cod liver oil? Out of a bottle, obviously, none of that capsule nonsense.

Oh MU I will put on a haz mat suit and give you hug.

I do understand your concern as you are dealing with the public and food. Do you wear gloves to serve?

I don't like cooking for anyone else but myself as scared of poisoning someone.

To be truthful most peoples hygiene is not very good anyway. I don't always wash my hands before eating stuff using my hands or even prepping food for myself. So lots of people make themselves ill anyway.

Plenty of fluids and keep warm in the duvet fort is best.

I'd washed my hands at least 3 times before i served anyone, and i didn't touch any food....oh god if someone goes down with a bug they're going to blame me aren't they? :(

Currently feeling sorry for myself surrounded by hello kitties and a big blanket....though i keep flitting between being too hot and too cold so i also have the fan on. :o

If you did not touch the food then you can't pass anything on.

No they're not. There's bugs going round, two of your colleagues and goodness knows how many customers already have it, stop worrying.
Generally speaking, none of us know we've got the lurg till the world starts falling out of our bottoms. You let them know straight away, there's nothing more you could have done. Your manager is following reporting procedures, that's all. Reporting is not the same as blaming.

Here's hoping it goes as quickly as it came. Do you have the 48 hour rule in your place?
