Good job Escapette is so unbelievabley cute...
She has just fallen asleep after being up all night making noises like a velocirapter.
Going to need my own personal cheerleading squad to get me through the day on Thursday when hubby goes back to work. Dreading it!
Had to go and stand in the kitchen a bit last night to calm down. I do hate my temper.
Found a 'new parents' group I was planning on going to today, but will have to go next week instead. Far too tired this morning, and don't think Escapette is over her bug yet so wouldn't be fair on her or other babies.
Need to find more groups to go to, but can't get to a lot until I can drive again.

Is it worth looking in a few antique/vintage shops Calley to get some ideas?

You'll be fine Welly! In a way it's quite nice to have DH out of the way so you can get into a nice daytime routine with LO, and at least you know he'll be home 'soon' if things go pear shaped! Try to find lots of baby groups to go to once you're more mobile, they were a life saver for me and I met 2 very good friends at the Children's Centre-run 'Baby and Me' class. :) Hope Escapette has a better day/night and catches up on all that missed sleep!

If there's a branch near you, I strongly recommend the National Childbirth Trust. They were a godsend to me!

Gingernutty, I keep meaning to ask... is your hair OK now? Didn't you have some kind of hair dye incident?!

    Good afternoon all!

Hope Escapette and you are feeling a bit better today, Welly!

I am on edge today. My own fault for stopping my medication, even doing so briefly has an effect. All has been take today so I should feel fine soon. In the meantime I have floating anxiety, not about anything specific, just anxiety in general. I'll be in the fort.
I can understand not wanting to take your meds, one of the ones i used to be on seriously just zombified me and after a while you just want to feel something even if it does end up being negative, hope you've taken your meds today and feel better and less on edge soon.

Thank you for birthday wishes :D

Finally back home, laden with 3 bags worth of goodies....shall attempt to remember presents: Mum and Dad got me a lovely Pandora bracelet, so now i'm going to be looking for chars for it, Swain's mum got me a lovely hello kitty jewellery box, one of my managers got a hello kitty umbrella and some hello kitty headphones, a random friend i saw out on saturday got me a hello kitty backpack (handy for putting the heels into!), and Swain got me: awesome hello kitty shoes, a fluffy unicorn (the one off Despicable Me!), a hello kitty lego type set, a hello kitty cushion and i;ve got some more random hello kitty bits to come in the post. And we had a lovely day shopping and a meal yesterday. Oh and i;ve bought myself a big fluffy blanket :D

Feeling throughly spoiled but honestly its been wonderful. I can't remember who it was that said i needed to try and make some happier memories to avoid the birthday blues but i've certainly done that this year.

Back to work tomorrow , but now i'm counting down till Christmas!

    I thoroughly agree with ^^^^^^^^^^^

Your natural colour is beautiful! I always love seeing a shock of that wonderful ginger colour! You're very lucky!

MessedUp, do you like Hello Kitty by any chance? :D:D:D

You'd better make sure that if you ever have had enough of Hello Kitty, that you tell people over and over again, otherwise you'll keep being given HK stuff even when you're old and grey! :rotfl:

Glad you've had some lovely memories!

  • Your natural hair colour is beautiful, Ginger!

Hope you managed to get some sleep, Welly!

Happy Birthday, MU! Hope you have a lovely time!

I am so glad that you feeling a bit better, Faerie! Please do know that you can always post, it doesn't have to just be when you feel down. You can share the happy times and cat cuddles too!

I am still feeling like my medication is the enemy but I am taking it so my anxiety is a lot less today which is a good thing. I would just like one week with a clear head, that's all. Like a little holiday for my brain. I cannot do it though so I had just better get on with it really.

    Evening my lovelies,

Well a bit of a mixed bag today. Over slept a bit today. Showered face on and dressed and out straight out the door.

Went to see the new maze runner film. And it was free. As I got in free as a carer and husband had enough points to pay for his ticket :j

So apart from my fuel. It was no cost today. Had tea at my husbands a couple of reduced to clear 24p each ready meals that I bought a few weeks ago and stashed in his freezer.

Anyway back home and finished off the wash coat around the radiator and pulled up the stair carpet. Will need a lot of scraping to get all the old backing off. Oh well never mind. Keeps me off the streets and out of trouble.

I was not sure what to do with the cabinet was thinking of painting as its a bit patchy in places. But might take it out side and give it a good wash down with sugar soap and then look at it again.

Hugs and squishes and handshakes to all that need them at the moment.

    Yours

    Calley
