  • I've had a look at the website and I reckon it's a scam one. Check out the 'Uggs Ugly' link - I'm sure that label is on a lot of the fakes going around.

    Hmm..

Well they emailed me some pics of the Ugg Sundance's.. the front, back and inside label, and all looks genuine. She said that offer refunds/exchanges if you're not at all happy with the boots.

I think I'm going to carry on looking around before I part with my money :)

Just as a warning - I had my e-bay account hijacked last week. The person listed several Chestnut Tall Ugg Boots on BIN for about £60. They had put a different paypal address on the listings and Paypal picked it up and phoned me to see if it was genuine - top marks to them for spotting it so quickly.

Ebay cancelled the listings but not before some people had bought and paid for their boots - I know this because I received a couple of e-mails asking where the boots were. I don't know what happened to those people, I hope paypal refunded them, since they knew they were false listings.

So just thought I'd warn MSE'rs to be on the lookout for rogue Uggs on ebay

I've just come across this website.. I think it's UK based, and the Uggs on there are cheapest Ive seen them in this country, with free delivery too.. Seems to good to be true?!

    http://uggs-boots.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=71

Anyone come across these lot before?

ETA: I emailed them earlier to query about their prices, as it seemed a bit suspicious. They emailed back to say that the reason why they are cheaper is because they import them from overseas, and then sell them on over here. Basically, instead of us ordering direct from the likes of aussiedirdct, Hartings etc, they do it.. slap a bit of money on and then sell them over here. As a result, she said that delivery times are about 14 days.

Wonder how genuine this is.. Hmm

Personally I always find a site to look dodgy if they do not include an actual address. Couldn't find one on that site, so I'd asume that the offers are too good to be true
  • Hi

    uggs-boots.co.uk

    First of all

UGG UGLY is a ugg booots brand Ugg Australia is not the only brand out there selling boots in fact i can recall by memory 16 main brands selling ugg boots.

    We Sell 3 Brands

    Ugg Australia
    Ugg Ugly
    Emu Australia

Yes our boots are genuine all of the 3 brands we sell.

    Why we cheap ?

Because we import from overseas and have wholesale contact overseas

    Why not an address?

We use to have it displayed on the site , but we are a online shop and as we are based in london we used to get many people knocking on the door , so we decide to remove the address as is not needed at all, and in a event of returns we provide you the UK London address to return the boots

Having seen so many people on here who have been ripped off I hope you dont mind me asking uggs-boots, are you an Authorised Genuine stockist with Ugg Australia? Are your boots made and endorsed by Ugg Australia Deckers corp? If we were to call them would they confirm you are one of their stockists?

This Gumtree ad for the site does not mention the boots to be Genuine Deckers boots. Are they Genuine or Counterfeit copies? The bit I have highlighted in red does not convince me that Deckers produce these boots you sell. I am inclined to think these boots are not the real thing.

  • Well you don't have to be authorised by deckers to sell ugg boots.

No we not a offcial Stockist and we never claim to be one eiter.

About not liking the text you mention i want to imform you that that is a quote from last year when we started and from ugg australia website that we just cut and paste.

I'm not going to start a Argument with anyone on this forum if you not convinced then simple as , don't buy from us

And the registrar details are correct.

    Thank You
  • PS.You offening me asking if they are genuine or counterfeit.

    If you check for example

Fake boots are very easy to spot as you see above , we don't sell fakes Period.

Thanks for the link but the fakes have moved on a bit since that review, they are increasingly hard to spot.

You seem very defensive, if you cannot understand why people are asking then read back on this thread about all the people who have been ripped off with Uggs, I do not ask to offend you but to ask about the actual product you are selling.

As for you not being an Authorised Ugg Australia stockist, you are correct you dont have to be registered with them, but seeing as they only supply direct to their Authorised suppliers I personally would not be confident in buying from any other site claiming to sell the real thing, these boots are too expensive to take the risk.

    Thanks for answering my questions.
  • Agree with what you stated , i got on the defensive because out of no blue , this is the second time my site have been mentioned in this post if you check back to page 104 i believe, back in november.

Coments like this hurt a company specialy a new company groving up, and this time decided to step in and make my point instead of let people presume comments about uggs boots uk .

Didn't got a negative comment before and will not get a negative now , specialy because i'm proud to have a great customers service and treat every customer equaly and i'm sure i sell genuine boots.

Expensive yes but let me tell you something

    Example

    ugg Australia tall US price $120 + $33 shipping = $155usd / 2 = £77

£77 you can get the real deal from us if you have the right people over there
so if i sell at £124.99 still a big proffit range of £48

Customs sometimes you pay sometimes you don't (depends how lacy customs guy is )

120usd value = to 11% customs as you have to know how to import and not just pay high rate that is why you have import products code ect when you declare the goods i could continue for hours.......

And this is my last post as i should have not reply in the first place.

Thank You and good luck with your life
