hi, just wondering if anyone has managed to get some particularly bargainous boots lately? i've been debating a pair of uggs for years but the price is just a little too hefty!
i really want the grey cardi ones but doubt i'll be able to search out any below the £100 mark. however it seems like it's worth getting the branded uggs as so many people seem to have been ripped off or scammed :(

WENT TO LOCAL SHOE SHOP TO BUY PROTECTOR TODAY, BUT WAS TOLD BY LADY AND OWNER THAT YOU SHOULD NOT PUT ANYTHING ON SHEEPSKIN AS IT NEEDS TO BREATHE, IF MARKS/STAINS ARISE JUST RUB CLEAN WITH CLOTH/WATER OR WIRE BRUSH GENTLY. MAY BE OF USE.
hi, i've got the canterbury boots and i protected them with the storm protector spray as mentioned way back in this thread. It is expensive, i paid £6.99 but it is designed to be used on breathable materials (such as sheepskin ) without making a differance to the breathability, if that makes sense. I sprayed my boots and left them to dry, then did the same the next day, i've still got loads of spray left and my boots have been great in all weather, no marks at all and i haven't had to respray even though i wear them all the time.
Ugg australia actually reccomend the spray for their boots and i bought it from a shop that sells ugg australia boots too, sometimes it is worth spending the extra, alot of people that have used cheaper sprays seem to have to respray quite often which can end up costing just as much. (At least with this one you know the sheepskin is still breathable)
Anyway, i just thought i'd let you know but it's just prsonal choice really, depends what you want:j
  • Hi, I sent off for these boots believing them to be Uggs.
They arrived promptly but are not the genuine uggs.
In actual fact they are "emu ridge".
They are ok but bought them for my daughter who wanted genuine uggs. . I now have a pair emu ridge. ! ! !

Uggs is just a generic name for that style of sheepskin boot. Can you send them back for a refund?

Really sorry, i meant to put www.designersbrand.com , i'm new to this.

Its a brand new site and is set up to take paypal....I would steer well clear of it, they are not an authorised Ugg stockist and could well be set up to take your money and not send your boots.

Looking at whois site owner also owns a teen !!!!!! site...enough said!
