If you actually check e-bay, there's a really good article about the sale of genuine Ugg boots online.

It actually states that genuine UGG Australia boots are not available to buy from abroad. Any website claiming they are selling genuine UGG Australia boots and will post them to the UK are counterfeit.

This is a good guide to spotting fake Ugg's, especially on ebay;

SEARCH:1" rel="nofollow">http://reviews.ebay.co.uk/HOW-TO-SPOT-FAKE-UGG-BOOTS-Picture-Comparisons-UGGS_W0QQugidZ10000000003269455?ssPageName=BUYGD:CAT:-1:SEARCH:1

This is the article that explains all about the copyright and buying and selling of UGG boots;

http://cgi3.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewUserPage&userid=ugg_holdings

Hope these help anyone trying to find genuine Ugg boots online. Beleive me I've searched and you just can't get them. My advice would be to try Macy's or Bloomingdale's the US websites. They are authorised sellers and with the dollar so weak against the pound you should get a good deal. Just watch out for the import tax!!!!

There are a couple of trusted sites mentioned in this thread, but you are right...you cant get them because most have no stock right now. These new websites make me laugh with their masses of stock, why on earth would Ugg supply these people above their authorised stockists.

Then somebody comes on telling us they import them to sell for profit, common sense would say order them from the US yourself if its that easy, I got a pair of Talls for £80 delivered & escaped customs charges back in Oct/Nov its just a case of getting them at the right time in US they are a lot cheaper its just finding them.
• Look to help you all a bit if you have a friend family in US try http://www.nordstrom.com cheapest price arround and if not in stock they give you a instant dlivery date.

If you have no friend in USA i'm afraid they only ship in USA but you can buy from overseas and ship to USA then redirect to you , shippment in USA is Free so you end up paying say for Classic Tall arround £93 including shipping to uk with USPS if you get chargued customs tax and you declare the real value expect to get chargued arround £10 so total £103 for a boot that cost £160 in UK that is a £53 saving including customs

Now please don't tell me Nordstrom is a illegit site and that sell fakes to as it have retail shops all arround USA

This is against my interests but i don't expect any sales from here anyways :) so i though of given a bit of advise to all this looking but no finding people desesperatly looking for UGG Australia boots
• Also any company shipping overseas are selling fake uggs or not Ugg Aproved Stockist as Deckers don't allow the Aproved stockist to ship outside the country they are based.

So Basically a Company shipping overseas from us selling uggs are redirecting merchandise :)

PS macys.com don't sell ugg australia but EMU australia
Now also is another company kicking in with amazing boots

http://www.lovefromaustralia.com/

Hope this enlight some people and fell free to ask, i know a bit about uggs whatever brand they are.

Some of the boots on that site are nice, like Uggs.. but abit more unique. Unfortunately, they are waaay out of my price range  lol.

I'm still on the Ugg hunt, I want some chocolate ones while the weather is still sh*t so I can get some use out of them.

ETA: Oh, and I see uggs-boots have put their prices up.. no longer offering the 4-5% off I see :p
• Is this website one that sells real uggs thanks http://www.snugaustraliauggboots.com.au/

They are real in the terms of sheepskin Ugg boots, but they are not THE Ugg Australia label (the ones with the big G in middle uGg) that most people want, make sure of what label you are looking for before you buy if you are not label fussy they are a very similar boot. HTH
• thanks, do you know where i can get some from an abroad website?thanks

I wish I had seen this site first.

Paid £109.00 via paypal using the paypal credit card to john2@xren.com for a pair of UGG boots that I thought were coming from Ugg Direct at http://www.uggsdirect.co.uk/ alas no. it was a clone site.

The real UGG direct site were as much use as a chocolate fire guard. They weren’t interested in my or anybody else’s plight with this clone site. Shame as its their name the site defrauding.

Anyway, still awaiting the outcome of the paypal investigations.

Ill let you all know what result is. Positive I hope.

Hi
Don't hold your breath with PP!
My daughter was also a victim of Saleuggsdirect
She bought and paid for boots on 1st Jan (99.00) and when she did not receive them she opened a dispute with PP on the 25th Jan and the case has now been closed in her favour but PP are unable to recover funds:rolleyes:
I can't understand how PP can allow this B****** to get away with it,surely if she put a claim in on the 25th jan and others have been buying there must have been money in his account:confused:
She is a student at uni and 99.00 is money she can't afford to lose unfortunatly she paid by debit not credit card:mad:
I was a bit worried when she told me the site she'd used as it did look a bit dodgy but she was so desperate for a pair and everywhere else had sold out!
If she had bought them on ebay at least she would have the satisfaction of warning others!
So as far as i can see PP have washed there hands of it!!!!
Not sure what to do next

I've been Money Tipped!
Finally got a pair of UGGS from Selfridges. Could anyone out ther tell me how they are cleaning/protecting them as noticed on e-bay that the proper UGG items are quite expensive?
