I ordered my boots from the official Ugg website www.uggaustralia.com you select which country website you want to go to, so I ordered from the United States one cos you can order even if they havnt got any in stock they will ship when they become available and you will end up saving about £20. Think they charged me £120 including delivery and then I had to pay UPS £35 for tax when they delivered them (cash). So works out cheaper than buying from UK.

Good luck! I have been wanting mine since winter began aswell! So glad I finally have some and with the reassurance that they are genuine!

Let me know how you get on!

Just checked my credit card statement and I've only been charged UK£87.28 for the genuine UGG boots from Australiadirect, and that includes the higher postage charge of US$35 for UPS express delivery and boxed boots. They are also covering all import duties and taxes for this month too :D

That's about half the price of buying them in the UK!!! :j
thats the site i b checkin for and they do say their genuine UA ones... do they come up big? or do u order ur actual size?

just thought i'd let you know about my customer service experience with kiwi sheepskin as i know a few people here have ordered from them.

I emailed them on friday about the hole in my tall ugg boots (that i'd only had for just over 3 weeks), and they replied asking for photos, which i sent back yesterday. they then replied apologising for the inconvenience and have already sent out a replacement pair. that is amazing customer service don't you think?!!

and the best thing... i don't have to send the faulty pair back! so i'm gonna use them as slippers round the house i think. i can't rate them highly enough - when i ordered them, the boots only took 4 days to arrive (turned up on xmas eve!). and they were only £68.75 too :D

The asos ones dont look great though if you zoom in (you can see the lining through the stitches) and theyre £140! Think of how peed off you would be if you paid that much and they looked like that!!
they look real to me and PLUS they offer a full refund...

They're definitely real, I wouldn't worry about ordering from asos.

What does everyone think of the Cardy ones? I really liked them then I saw how they look where you wear them tall, not so nice. what do you think??

If you read the first line of what you quoted from photome, you'll see how funny your post is too! Everyone's entitled to their opinion :)

Also, be careful with Australia Direct, lots of their stock has been confirmed as fake in the past, and yes, they run big. Usually the rule is order a size smaller than you are.

  • quote Just been checking www.uggaustralia.com in the Australian section under tall and short classics they say they are made in China, New Zealand and Australia.....i guess the Ausrtalian ones are not fakes... quote

well i now have 4 pairs uggs. one pair from aussie direct, 2 pairs from cloggs.co.uk and one pair from wang. all are made in china apart from the aussie direct ones which are totally inferior. i would never have thought china made uggs would be better than oz ones, but theres no doubt the chinese uggs are a million times better. so tbh, to anyone whos wanting the real deal uggs AVOID AUSTRALIA DIRECT LIKE THE PLAGUE

i wish i could post pics so you could see how crap my australia direct ones are. they re all collapsed at the back and look CHEAP and FAKE beside my other 3 pairs.

:money: dont waste money on crappy boots that you can get in primark for a fiver DO NOT BUY FROM AUSTRALIA DIRECT

  • I got my wife some from Australiadirect, the are great boots, the are made in New Zealand and at my door for 115 GBP all in, i`ve now got her some more, my sister in law and niece, they are the UGG Australie branded boots... the delivery is fast, the customer care is second to none, the price is great..only thing is you have to be fast to order as numbers are limited....if you are not fast..your last.

i would say this "UGG Australia" are to "Ugg boots" the way "Green Hunters" are to Wellington boots,.... you are just paying a premium for the brand name !! well almost

Just been checking www.uggasutralia.com and in the Australian section under Classic Talls and Classic Shorts it says they are Made in Australia, China and New Zealand.

Im guessing thats pretty offical if its on there site saying they make them in Australia. what do you think?

Ugg Australia's website may well say they are made Australia but that didn't stop Australia Direct sending me three pairs of boots, which were confirmed as fake by Deckers UK distributor (AMG Group), who physically inspected them. I know some of AD's boots are genuine but some are most definitely not. If in doubt get something in writing (email) from them before buying, along the lines of "we promise not to try to rip you off by sending you cheap knock offs".

    Rant over. Buyer beware.
