They're definitely real, I wouldn't worry about ordering from asos.

What does everyone think of the Cardy ones? I really liked them then I saw how they look where you wear them tall, not so nice. what do you think??

I've just bought a pair of tall sand Ugg's but I'm scared to wear them until I know how to look after them! Can anyone recommend a protective spray and what type of brush should I use? I'm worried that if I just use any spray it may discolour them. I've seen Ugg cleaning kits on the internet but I'm not sure if they are available in the uk, or even whether they are worth the money. Sorry if this has already been answered but I got 60 pages through this thread and it is taking so long to read!

The best I have used is the Punch active super protector. Its better with rain stains than the normal Punch protector. I saw some in JJB sports a few days ago for £2.99 (its in a silver and blue can) HTH

My newest ones all have cream with copper too. I think they were silver but so many years ago I doubt they would be in new ones now.

Also I have noticed that the fake ones I have actually seen, the care sheet was on paper with no grain. All my genuine ones the care sheet is slightly rippled paper. Like the expensive paper/card you can buy. Hope this makes sense. lol
  • I phoned paypal today - thanks for the advice spring909! They said that the dispute would close at midnight and if no response from the seller then they would find dispute in my favour.
I questioned being refunded and made a point about how they claim purchases with them are simple, smart, SAFE. I said that i was aware that many other people had not received their boots from this seller and that as the seller's website is still operating paypal were putting other unsuspecting customers at risk.
Paypal said that if the seller had funds in their account they would take the funds from them and re-imburse me. I had written off getting any money back assuming the seller would clear funds regularly.
Anyhow, i have just had an e-mail from paypal and they were able to recover £95.43!!!! I've checked my account and it's definately in there.
I'm obviously really really pleased but do feel terrible that my refund is someone elses money who's waiting for a pair of boots to arrive any day soon!
I'm also really sorry to boogaboy and everyone else who did not get their money back!
It makes me so sick that there are people who could consider doing this. I've certainly learnt my lesson and won't make anying internet purchases on unknown sites before checking on here first!

I have read the first ten or so pages and the last six or seven and my head is spinning! I'm going to Sydney next month and will buy some Uggs there. However, the Ugg Australia site doesn't show the Aussie prices on there. It seems that from UK retailers, short are £140 and tall are £170. Any idea what the cost is from shops in Australia itself? Thank you in advance!

no not really since office and asos sell them for £140...

No actually because I paid that price for a pair of TALL UGG BOOTS in sand, not the short ones which I see are selling for £140. So as I previously stated you would pay £170 for a pair of tall ones in the UK (before delivery charges) so you make a slight saving. Its neither here nor there really im just trying to help people unlike you obviously ...

Im so happy with my Uggs, so paying £155 for them in total with delivery and taxes is a fair price I would say.

I see you are considering purchasing from Aussie Direct which has many bad reviews and by the way genuine Uggs are actually made in CHINA not New Zealand or Australia - the boots from Aussie Direct apparently say made in New Zealand or Australia ...

So please before you make your unhelpful comments to me next time do your research!! Everyone I have spoken to on this site have always been so kind and helpful and we dont need people on here like you who obviously find it difficult to be nice.

    Lotte
