Ugg Boots from £62 delivered

And as I said before these are short Uggs not tall ones as I have purchased, so your information is totally irellevant to me. After being scammed over Christmas by Uggfootwear Direct I have done enough research into Ugg boots to know where is best to buy I can honestly say that paying that bit extra and purchasing from the genuine UggAustralia site is the best thing I did and now I can wear my Uggs proud knowing they are the real deal even if no one else does!

So please dont come along and think you know it all, posting rude comments on this site when clearly you havnt even purchased a pair of Uggs yet!

Sorry I only just saw your post! Yeah I had to pay £35 cash on delivery. Not sure what happens if you dont have it but it definately said cash only. Luckily I was out the first day they tried to deliver but they left a card saying they would redeliver the next day and it said on there £35 cash required on delivery. I dont think they can invoice you.

Hope you receive this in time before your boots arrive and hope this helps!

I just wondered if anyone knows how much a pair of ugg boots are to buy in australia as i am going to sydney in march and thought that i may treat myself to a pair. Can anyone advise where to but them and how much they cost. Thanks.

I bought mine from this shop http://www.sheepskinshop.com.au/ when I went to Sydney 2 years ago. Its at the start of the Rocks, near the harbour.
I was determined to buy some UGGs when I went but when I saw the UGGs and Canterburys side by side in the shop I bought 2 pairs of Canterburys instead. Can't remember the prices but I know the UGGs were more expensive and the people in the shop were really helpful, they said that the UGGs were a much inferior boot and advised me to get the Canterburys even though they were quite a bit cheaper. They knew everything about the boots and there was no pressure to buy - unlike most of the other shops selling UGGs. Apart from that I think they had UGGs in the department stores but they weren't that cheap. If you're not bothered about the label, almost every shop in Sydney sells 'unlabeled' boots at cheap prices, some looked good quality, others didnt.

My friend got a pair of Uggs for a friend for about £50 when he went over to Oz they were really nice quality but not the uGg label. He struggled to find any where he was staying because it was warm there at the time. The actual UGG label is not desirable to locals, as they are not Australian made. I also have read a lot of small companies who have struggled to keep their businesses going due to the whole UGG label and rights to the UGG name. So I dont think they have many places selling this brand.

I think he got laughed at a few times by his friends there because they wear them as slippers. :rotfl:

I have been doing a bit of research this morning and it is true that ugg is a general name for them in oz. You can buy ugg boots but not the brand name practically everywhere. There is a place in the rocks around the harbour that sell ugg boots although they are not the branded ugg boots for around about $70-$100.There is also a place in the blue mountains that sell them and i did notice last year that the scenic railway in katoomba sell them they were $90. Again not the real thing but the ones i looked at were really good quality, didn't buy any at the time wish i had.

Completely agree with you, on every count I got 2 pairs from AD and thankfully both mine were confirmed as real, luckily I got the chocs in the classics, the only ones that were ok, I'd never buy from them again though. Service was fine but it's far too risky.

I paid around £115 for my short sand ones, not as much as a bargain, the tall chocs were £89, but at least I know for a fact they are genuine! I'd much rather pay full whack than get scammed!

what part of it was rude??

u posted a reply without specifying the short or tall, i replied based on the price of the current short ones.

I am fully aware of the sizes office and asos have and havent got in stock online.

Im so happy with my Uggs, so paying £155 for them in total with delivery and taxes is a fair price I would say.

I see you are considering purchasing from Aussie Direct which has many bad reviews and by the way genuine Uggs are actually made in CHINA not New Zealand or Australia - the boots from Aussie Direct apparently say made in New Zealand or Australia ...

So please before you make your unhelpful comments to me next time do your research!! Everyone I have spoken to on this site have always been so kind and helpful and we dont need people on here like you who obviously find it difficult to be nice.

FYI i was going to buy them from the official site, until i came across AD, not through MSE. but something threw me with how cheap they were for genuine even with the shipping. I then found this thread and read it through... which confirmed my initial reservations with AD.

and yes i have done my research actually which was confirmed more through this thread, so i dont get ur comments about my ignorance about UGG A boots...

so i confused the height boots u were on about when i commented on the cost.. how does that make it rude?!
