aspinallkate - there are a few pairs of cardies on ebay.
i was wondering if anyone on here has any?? i cant decide whether to take the plunge or not as they're abit steep at around £125 - £145 plus £20 p and p - PLUS customs!! main thing thats putting me off is that they wont be as comfortable - is it just a fleecy footbed or is there a sheepskin 'sock' - I've read both mentioned and am a bit confused. i suffer with eczema and my skins quite sensitive and wool can sometimes be a bit scratchy. how have people found them comfort wise xxx
I think I'm going to pre-order some, I resent paying between £50 and £70 over the RRP just because they've sold out. Even for Uggs that's very steep and greedy of the sellers!

my canterbury boots have arrived, ordered on 12 jan, arrived on 24th so not bad at all. They are gorgeous, feel slighty tight though, is this normal and will they give with wear? i ordered the recomended size (normally a 6-6.5, ordered a 7).
The quality is great, now just have to get some protector spray before i wear them, don't want them ruined, i am sooo happy, just hope the sizing is o.k once i'm wearing them, after all, it is comfort i got them for, and warmth, don't want to stick my toe through the front, what do other canterbury wearers think?0 -

Blimey! I wouldn't wait that long! I think mine are available in March. I found a couple of sites selling them for around £100 (for pre order). They say they'll have them early Feb but how can they get them before the official site? Seems a bit unlikely to me!

Unfortunately I am currently going through the resolution process with paypal. I too ordered from uggfootwear-direct.com and had same problem. The email address I was given was john29@xrenmail.com.
I feel a complete idiot to the tune of £158 and I was ordering on behalf of a family member!0 -

Dont feel like an idiot. The reason this bloke has got away with it is because he has used several email addys. The site was exactly the same layout as a site named dusiafootwear, which is suspiciously 'under construction' they could be the same people, my friends got boots from them but they took ages to arrive and were sent from Australia yet the company claimed to be in Miami and showing a UK address in Bristol! The fact its the exact same layout and prices with free postage offer makes me wonder if they changed names as a google search on dusiafootwear brings up a couple of dubious posts so its likely they changed names to carry on selling boots, couldnt meet demand and then realised how easy it was to keep taking orders without sending the items. My friends orders were all taken against items 'in stock' yet emailing them the reply was that they were behind on orders, which was probably untrue. The last couple of pairs looked like they were never going to arrive but did eventually, that was back in october!
I would call paypal and talk to them, a search on google was throwing out that this was a rip off company, yet a search on Ugg australia boots was bringing this site up at the top of the list right up till last week, so totally misleading to buyers.
The amount of reports paypal must of had about this seller they must be able to offer you something if you make a big enough point out of it. They make a fortune in fees surely some of it should be allocated to people who choose this so called safer way to pay!
I really hope you get something back, its so unfair.0 -
hi sweetcake - i thought the same about my uggs, they felt tight at first around the toes. but since wearing them 6 or 7 times they fit really nicely so i think the suede gives a bit and the sheepsfleece kind of moulds around your feet. xx
becky - I wanted black or grey ones in a size us 8 - seemingly the most popular size and colours! decided to to wait and bought some black classics for now off ebay - cost me £105 with p & p so not that bad. hopefully they'll be ok - the seller only had a few pairs 9only one in black) but was a powerseller of other designer stuff (haviannas mainly) so I cant see as they'd want to tarnish their reputation with fakes. fingers crossed eh! think I'm turning into an ugg addict!MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j

My Ugg boots arrived today from ugg australia.
A word of warning as dhl had held my boots for 2 weeks without me knowing they had tried to deliver them 2 weeks ago. Dhl again tried to deliver my boots today (after a call to ugg australia and a new tracking number given) but noone was in so left them at in an open porchway (no signature) at the incorrect address!!!! It was only a bit of investigating from my husband that he found them and luckily they were still there 6 hours after delivery.
I would have been furious if they had been stolen. I'm away for the week so i still have to wait to get them on friday but am now very excited.

I have the Oatmeal Cardy Uggs.
I did post that I got the from Sole Trader earlier on.
I think they're pretty much sold out everywhere in the USA.
I was told they were expecting stock early March in most stores.
Anyway, with regards to which size to buy:
I normally take a size 8 UK in regular shoes.
I have fairly wide feet.
I wear a size 7 UK in Classic Tall Uggs.
I bought a size 7 UK in the Oatmeal Cardy Uggs.
They fitted like a glove.
If you get the size that you are, you will end up slipping all over the place.
They look great turned down and all the way up!
I cannot wait till the spring.
I will keep a look out in the UK.
I got mine a couple of weeks ago, but they were the last pair I was told for a while.
I'll keep my eyes posted!!0 -
For those of you lucky enough to have a pair please could you tell me
Do the cardy's have only a sheepskin footbed or a whole sheepskin sock??
I want some.....No I need some!!!0
