humph - just recieved my black classics and I think they are fakes. Comparing them to my sand classics you can just tell - they have the r on the sole, made in china etc but they stink of dye and they just look abit shoddy. The care card is also on regualr card instead of the 'posh card and the packaging look dodgy.
    They're from this seller http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZsoleriders
I've emailed them for a refund - but they have a few other pairs of uggs on auction at minute and I feel something needs to be done to warn other bidders. However, if I leave a neg now will they just not give me a refund and dispute that they are fakes? At the end of the day, I want my £100 back!!:mad::mad::mad::mad:

I got some sheepskin boots from Celtic Sheepskin which are made in Cornwall, and they are just like Uggs.. in fact I think they are nicer! My sister has a pair of Uggs and mine are the same colour and same and style but look nicer and cost less I think. Mine have a leather rim round the top of the boot and hers doesnt.. just a fabric bit.. makes it look a bit cheap in my opinion! I went to the Celtic Sheepskin factory shop once and the man there had been making them for years and said that Ugg had originally bought the patent and design for the boots from them. Got mine a few years ago now, still going strong.. as good as new!

Oh no! Are they definitely fakes or old stock? That's such a shame! GRRRRRR! The ones they are selling now have the old box in the pics, maybe they're seconds? Def file a dispute with the seller now though!!

  • hi,
i think my ugg boots might be poorly  ....when i first got them the insole in the left boot was rubbing up at the edge when i walked so that the heel of my foot was sticking to the plastic(or whatever it is) under the fluffy bit and causing a blister, but i put up with it and my foot got used to it....any way i was having an inspection of the inside today and noticed that the inside of that boot more or less all of the furry bit has rubbed away down to the plasticcy(?)bit. it is only in the left boot, the other one has still got all of the fluffy insole (which has kind of moulded to my foot)
    is this normal or not??

As far as I know it's not normal. I have 3 pairs and none of mine have done this. They're guarnanteed with Ugg Australia, you should get in touch with them and ask about getting a replacement.

This is a pair of cardys on ebay, the seller has posted quite a few pics, you can see the inside and stuff. I'm still not convinced, lol! Sure I'll love em when they get here though!

You can either do as Becky suggested, or buy some new insoles. Ugg Australia ones are expensive at £20+ but celtic sheepskin do some for £5 ish.

Cardi Uggs are different, they have a different Ugg label on the heel. Not sure if Becky actually ordered from ebay I thought she was getting them from Ugg.

NO NO! LOL! I wouldn't buy from these guys! I've ordered from the official site :D This will be my fourth pair so I'm pretty good at knowing which are genuine.

I presumed these were real as I didn;t think they'd be copying cardys quite, lol, but it was just to illustrate my point :D Carsy's are different though, these look like all the other pairs I've seen so far so I presume they are the real deal but nothing surprises me anymore!
