his is the most dishartening transaction I have ever been party to. Having been assured by Paypay that they were a "verified" company and Google a "sponsored link" it now appears this is very likely to be a fraudulent company. I am hopeful that as payment was made securely(which was over £100) via paypal it will carry an assurance of protection. I have only just registered my claim and understand that it may take 30 days for a resolution. However I would be interested to know if anyone has had a statifactory outcome from either their order or claim for a refund?
I had the same! i ordered a pair of ugg from uggfootwear-direct.com on Dec28.I too have been scamed! I then opened a claim with paypal, they have been very helpful so far.but i am still waiting for the refund.
i am not sure if you have done the same yet, but if you could go to page 137, there is a message from Lotte26b to me which you will see she had explian to me how she calimed her money back with paypal.
I hope this helps!Good luck to us.:rolleyes:0 -
Oh good im really pleased youve managed to sort it out, its so complicated but you can relax now you know its being disputed I am sure you will get your money back. I have now received a full refund on 16th Jan as the seller didnt reply to the claim so im sure you too will get a refund!
I ordered my boots from the official Ugg website www.uggaustralia.com you select which country website you want to go to, so I ordered from the United States one cos you can order even if they havnt got any in stock they will ship when they become available and you will end up saving about £20. Think they charged me £120 including delivery and then I had to pay UPS £35 for tax when they delivered them (cash). So works out cheaper than buying from UK.
Good luck! I have been wanting mine since winter began aswell! So glad I finally have some and with the reassurance that they are genuine!
Let me know how you get on!

I have brought my ugg from the official Ugg website from your recommendation! i am very pleased with them!so thank you!
However, i still havent recieved a refund of uggfootwear-direct from paypal yet! i have checked my claim case from my paypal account, and it says:We have completed our investigation of this case. We attempted to process a refund from the seller's account to your account. Unfortunately, the seller's account does not contain the funds necessary to cover this refund. We were able to recover £0.00 GBP. We have taken action against the seller and are working to recover the remainder of your refund. We will contact you when we have more information. I am wondering if you had the same situation when you had the claim?could you please advise me on this?thanks a lot!

my canterbury boots have arrived, ordered on 12 jan, arrived on 24th so not bad at all. They are gorgeous, feel slighty tight though, is this normal and will they give with wear? i ordered the recomended size (normally a 6-6.5, ordered a 7).
The quality is great, now just have to get some protector spray before i wear them, don't want them ruined, i am sooo happy, just hope the sizing is o.k once i'm wearing them, after all, it is comfort i got them for, and warmth, don't want to stick my toe through the front, what do other canterbury wearers think?
I think you'll be fine with yours. In hindsight, I wish I'd gone for a size smaller because now they've "worn in" and the sheepskin has moulded to my feet they feel a little sloppy and if I'm walking any distance my feet are starting to get sore from the friction of my foot sliding forward in them
Just to add that mine are the Canterbury supertreads with the more robust sole and this has a slight heel on it too which, I think, is why my feet slide forwards in them. This doesn't happen in my flat Ugg boots, if that makes sense.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
I've just pre ordered the black cardy uggs in size 4. It says they'll be sent in about 2 weeks but I think it will take longer to be honest! Yay! I've had my doubts about them as I'm not sure I like the way they look in some of the pics, then in others I love them! Oh well, we will see! Pair number 4, yay!

hi, thanks for the replys on the fitting of my canterbury boots, it sounds as though they'll be fine once worn in and they'll definatly be getting worn plenty, that is once i've sprayed them and this constant rain stops. I feel happier now with the comments i've read and i love my new boots, can finally start wearing all those outfits i got for christmas to go with them (how sads that eh) anyway, thanks again:T
Also, someone was asking about the cardy uggs, i don't have any but i did read on one of the websites that they do have a sheepskin sock liner for added comfort, think that was info asked for so it sounds like the sheepskin goes right up the leg.0 -
In response to 2815:
The sheep part is just the footbed.
I haven't had a chance to wear them yet as the weather isn't really up to it.
They are really comfortable though.
Can't wait for the sun to come out!!0 -

Hi Angegirl,
Your welcome! Im glad you got some, which ones did you get in the end? They are so nice are'nt they! I got classic tall in sand, really want some cardy ones now ... and some black classic tall, lol! Its never ending.
Im sorry to hear you still havnt received your refund. When mine was processed they just emailed to say it end been won in my favour and a full refund had been processed. I got it all back but think I was lucky enough to just get it as it seemed that afew days after i got mine people were saying that there wasnt enough money in the sellers account to process the refund.
From what ive been reading apparently the seller has now assumed several different email addresses therefore I should think that he is clearing his accounts of the money and setting up new ones so paypal cant get their hands on it! Surely they cant let this continue much longer with daylight robbery occurring on a daily basis, its fraud!
I saw another post saying someone was going to go to watchdog, I think this is a good idea as paypal are obviously not going to do anything about this seller to try and stop them scamming people.
If I were you try and contact paypal by phone and speak to someone in person because its not right, they offer protection yet are not giving it!
Let me know how you get on, take care.
