• I've been at this Sourcing-UGGs-from-the-internet mullarky for a while and have bought from AD (not great); Uggaustralia's official site and Hartings and I have to say HARTINGS ARE THE BEST BY FAR!!!
THEY ARE GENIUNE PRODUCT AND I WAS NOT CHARGED ANY DUTY OR TAX ON DELIVERY.
THE PRICE THEY QUOTE ON THEIR SITE IS THE PRICE YOU PAY:D ....

I've compared them to the UGGAustralia product I bought from the official site and they are the same.

I agree. My uggs from Hartings arrived today and they are gorgeous. I didn't pay any customs and the price on the site was the price I paid delivered. The customer service was excellent, I received them in just 7 days and I was able to track. I highly recommend!!!! However, I note they are out of stock of some colours - check the website for further information www.hartings.nz

Hi everyone - Just to let you all know that I ordered my short chestnut uggs last Monday 22nd. They arrived on Monday 29th - only 1 week to wait! And they are lovely - arrived with the box and are comfy and warm! I would definitely recommend REI. They sent me an email on Saturday 27th confirming they had been shipped so all in all a great customer service.:j
Who is REI?
Very unsure who they are...
Thanks.

I ordered tall black Uggs from Aussie direct and they arrived today. I had ordered a US 5 but then realised these wouldn't fir a UK 4 so emailed same day as order to change size to US 6. However it took a few days for my e-mail to be seen and the boots had been despatched. Ah well i thought , she is a very small 4 so they should be OK.

Just a teensy problem as the boots I received are a US 8, wonder who pays for the return postage? I have checked my order details and definitely ordered a US 5. As to their authenticity I have no idea. They came in an UGG box and are sheepskin boots, with a label saying they are UGGs, and it is stamped on the sole.

Hi, I'm sure you have checked already but do Amazon have any? Zappos? Nordstrom? Not sure where your cousin will be/shopping but have you tried calling ahead to the big dept stores like Macy's, Bloomingdales, Bergdorfs, Saks, Neiman Marcus etc etc to see if they will lay some by for your cousin to pick up? They're stuffed with TK Maxx (is it TJ in the states?) type stores so you might be lucky if there's time for him/her to trawl the shops! Other than that can you get them via duty free? Good luck! :hello:

Genuine? Do check properly! I sent pics of my Aussie Direct tall blacks to Ugg Australia, and they said they didn't look like the genuine article! All AD say is "oh yes they are" ... looks like panto season started early! (oh no it hasn't) so that's complete and utter total pants and I'd advise anyone to avoid AD like the plague. The boots are a lottery and the customer service is awful. There are safer places to buy from with better reputations. They do have the box, but the wrong labels, smell funny and fit small (among other things) so do check.
Had you read the posts here before deciding where to get them from? They SHOULD pay for postage because it's their mistake. If you get them to a: reply to you or b: refund you postage as well as the cost of the boots - you've done better than anyone else I know of! If you're looking for a replacement pair I can recommend Hartings. They were brilliant. No box though, but they were genuine boots - and no duty to pay so who cares!

You shouldnt pay the postage its their error!

Is the label plasticky? are the heels narrow? Do they smell funny? Where were they made? When we say they are fakes we dont mean they are a different brand ff ugg, we mean a copy of the genuine uGg boot. They are well made sheepskin boots so hard to tell unless you have a boot to check against.

If you have trouble contacting them they have a few email addys, you could try this one, i got a couple of replies from Tenaya.

Tenaya@australiadirect.com

Maybe you should consider a refund on the excuse they are the wrong size sent instead of risking the chance of getting fake ones.

I found these today - not cheap but they are gold and I know how people want them so thought I would mention them:
