My label is the plastic one, but a friend in Australia told me this is how they were up until 18 months or so ago. Im still working on the old stock theory!

What your friend says is true they were synthetic labels previous to the fabric ones. If you are happy with them, then dont worry yourself especially as some of the boots received are genuine. :D

This thread will just help others avoid the possibilty of paying out and receiving fakes seeing as one member has had confirmation that the boots they got are fake.

    Hello,

Has anyone used the site uggworld.com.au? I order tall chocolate ones from them over 3 weeks ago and im still waiting!? I have tried emailing but still no reply?

Also, now im worried if they are genuine too!?

    Has anyone heard of them?

I am happy with them, I walked miles in them while we were in Blackpool and they were so comfy. I had the opportunity to try on some Emu's in a shop there and they were nowhere near as furry or as comfy :D

I think having followed this from the beginning I wouldnt buy from AD now, there is too much doubt there.

Maybe they are knocking out old stock or maybe just throwing in the odd fake pair, who knows, but its too much of a risk to take and the absence of James on this thread now speaks volumes.
  • Glad I've read thru these later pages before buying 2 pairs for the wife. I'd emailed James at AD a week ago to find out about stock but thought I was having problems as my emails to "him" were being bounced back.

Hope people with the fakes get some compensation. Whilst it's easy to say don't worry about them if you like them, fake Ugg's should cost no more than £20, not the $115 or whatever people are paying for them on here.
  • Just Remembered That When I Ordered My Uggs From Ad They Sent A Confirmation Of The Order And Asked If I Would Provide Feedback Following Delivery - I Said Yes But, Surprise Surprise, No Request For Feedback Has Come Through. I Got A Pair Of Genuine Short Choc Boots But Before I Got Them I Did Send An Email Saying I Was Concerned About This Thread And That They Were Sending Out Fakes. I Agree With Other Folk That Martin Needs To Address The Problem.

I am sure this has been asked many times before ... and I am sorry to ask it again :o but I read 50 or so pages of this a while back and ended up as confused as ever. It's now 88 pages long and I'd rather not read all of it again.

    So to my question(s) ...

I need Size 5 (UK) Classic Tall in Chestnut/Sand for my daughter for Christmas.
Is there a shortlist of places (preferably 1 :) ) where I should order Uggs from to ensure they are genuine and preferably as cheap as possible.

I have seen many mentions of:
AD: To be avoided it seems
REI: Randomly charged for import duties?
Hartings: Seem to be the best bet

Your help is greatly appreciated

Hi I've used Hartings twice and found them really good. The boots took about 2 weeks to arrive and I didn't get any customs charges. The only minor complaint is that they didn't come in their origonal box, but it's only a minor problem for the saving made. They are definately 100% genuine.:j

Personally I would go with american ebay. I have bought some genuine short ones from there for $100 plus $35 for delivery. There are a lot of genuine stores on there that deliver to the UK.

Has anyone heard of or ever ordered any Uggs from Sheepskinshoes.com
Just been looking at their website but couldn't quite understand the shipping methods as most options they gave were not for international orders but they say they ship wordwide.

Can anyone give any info on this.

    Anyone????
