Has anyone who bought the boots following Martin's email asked him for help in getting a full refund, even if you've worn the boots?
He's probably the best person to help.0 -
Im still not convinced my tall blacks are fake. Ive worn them constantly for a month and they are warm, comfy and "dyeless"!! I had a chance to compare with some genuine talls, there are minor differences like the height (mine compare closer to Ultra Talls than regular Talls) and the cream insole but the stitching quality, label quality etc are spot on.
Whether the Ultra Talls have a cream insole I dont know.0 -

Recieved UGG Boots from Hartings on friday for my girlfriend but didnt get a box with the item. They look really genuine and might go to town to compare with the ones in the shops. They say they are made in china but Im a lil annoyed that I didnt recieved it in original packaging.
But the boots are great!:j:rotfl:0 -

Is your label made of fabric?
I still think they started sending out fakes once they'd established trust with buyers and offering 5% discount they knew people would come back for a 2nd pair, James came here and saw how everyone was praising their boots so to chuck a few fakes in to unsuspecting buyers would of been easy to do, then when people question it and get told they are real they question themselves for even thinking it in the first place.
The insoles being cream is a recent thing as my older black ones had black and I got black toes for a while! my new brown ones have cream insoles so i think they all do now.
My advice if anyone is looking for boots now is steer clear of AD, they dont deserve to make any more money on recommendation from this forum. If as a company they got stitched up from a supplier with fakes they would be bending over backwards to help sort the problem, instead they have ignored peoples emails and given no help or support so they must know.0 -
It would be great if Martin could help get us our money back.... but I won't hold my breath. I just feel a bit cheated, because I hung on until Martin had "confirmed" that they were genuine and mine clearly aren't. Needless to say, James from AD won't respond to my email's, so I am now stuck with a pair of fake boots and lighter in the pocket.0

My label is the plastic one, but a friend in Australia told me this is how they were up until 18 months or so ago. Im still working on the old stock theory!0
