The sun is shinning here at last so sheets and towels have been on the line.
Been out most of the day dropping things off/shopping etc.
Going to try my new compost turning stick now.
Pigpen I missed you and your sheep, glad you are back, I am a bit confused about you only bringing 3 kids back or have I got the wrong end of the stick? The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
welcome back pigpen, hope you enjoyed the "break"
Gloriuos day here today, washing out on line :T meant to do a secon dlot but somehow never got that far.
Had a busy day - apart from lovely long lie in
- DW on
- DW emptied
- WM on
- washing out on line
- dusted playroom
- purged toys in dining room and moved back to playroom/into bin/into garage
- cleaned kitchen inc windows and window sills
- moved toys out of DS bedroom so hubby can paint it
- decluttered bathroom
- dusted front room
Then this afternoon whilst having snack with kids I remembered that I had meant to look at DS (age 4) hair as he has a scuzzy patch which I thought was cradle cap, I decided to pick a bit off and a big clump of hair came out in my hand  Anyway long story short I took him to the pharmacist who said I definitely need to take him to the GP, what a pain, and its probably psoriasis. He has two massive patches of scaliness in his scalp, they will both be bald under the scalesit sonly the scales which are holding the hair on, and I am so worried he will have big bald patches for starting school in 2 weeks.
So that was our little drama for the day.
Right I must do tea now, we are a bit late tonight, hubby staill painting and kids had sweets after the pharmacist as I felt sorry for DSand he got ready to go up there in super quick time

Hi all,
Pigpen, welcome back! I missed you too and your 'boinging'. I wondered as well why you've only brought 3 back?
Lil_me's too hot, Aimee's out in the hammock, Dusty's got sunshine.. I sure did pick the wrong place to live today.. Very envious.
No Flying just a little flapping today. Hoovered through and dusted (I dust with the hoover too Aimee). Roasted a chicken which I'll turn into spicy chicken pizza for tonight and sarnies/salad on Monday.
Shell, that must be soul destroying having to be there all day on the off chance there's work to do. And Sunday and Monday too? Cruel when you're probably thinking of a million things else you could be doing.
I'm just going to read the paper and get one beer ahead for when my Bro turns up. Must find out if his team won or lost today so I know what kind of evening we're in for..Dying to see how big my future niece/nephew is looking too!One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

JillD don't worry about the skin, my oldest still gets it at 8, the kids will be too worried about playing they won't notice if there is any patches. Not all of the hair comes out when the skin comes off on my sons. The GP gave me some stuff which really helps with it, until you get to see them maybe try a little olive oil.
I've done not a lotdisinfected kitchen bin as it was smelling manky, worked out how much food I need to feed the 25+ (plus is there because people keep being added) and sorted shopping list for it, not much else really
Time to make dinner (had a very late lunch) which is half prepared, so will hopefully do something as that cooks. One day I might be more organised...........

Evening everyone,
I hope everyone is having a good weekend. I'm about to disappear off for a nice relaxing bath whilst OH fixes dinner (the benefit of making far too many savoury tarts and too much salad last night)
We've spent most of the day delivering a second hand cooker to SIL. She'd bought it from ebay but the seller lived nearer us than her. The cooker was minging - honestly I'd have been ashamed to get rid of it in that state: all I could think was "Stardrops" (!), but never mind, job done.
Welcome back pigpen - things have definitely been a bit quieter around here.
Solwaykid: any chance of the recipe for the malteser traybake. I'm drooling just at the thought of it!
JillD: I hope you get DS's psoriasis sorted.
Right time to open a bottle of wine to go with tonight's dinner! Have a good evening everyone,

Hi Everyone!
Not been the most successful of days! Did manage to wash curtains in kids' rooms and a 27 fling boogie in the office - but DD1 didn't get home till 4 from grandmas so haven't managed to get any photos taken at all!!! Ah well - there's always tomorrow! BM on (DS told my parents today that Mummy's bread is much nicer than the stuff from the shops!!!). Also bought some huge foil containers to do some lasagnes etc for the freezer ready for back to school - job for next week. Confession time - I went shopping for some new work clothes (spending some of the freelancer money I made in the holidays). The old me would have spent a fortune in John Lewis/Next/M&S etc - but new me went for Florence & Fred!! Now I'm ready to go back to school too! Whilst shopping - a box of Oreo cookies accidentally 'fell' into the basket, so tonight I will mostly be scoffing those! (Maybe should have gone for the bigger size trousers!!!!!)
Just checked out the malteser thingie - will be adding that to the baking list!!!!0 -
