Morning,
sexymouse,it sounds like the pub job isn't too awful, working with nice people always helps though. Hope you find something that pays better soon though.
Jamiedodger, have a good camping trip, hope it stays dry for you. Saying that there's something really cosy about the sound of rain when you're in a tent! Have fun whatever the weather.
AnW'smum, hope you find a site to get a last minute break on next week. Probably heaving this weekend but folks will be making their way home by Tuesday.
It's not nearly as nice here today as it was yesterday so no lounging in the garden with a book for me. I finished it in bed this morning in anycase, lazy bag that I am..
BM on
Malteser traybake complete with birthday candles in the fridge for when the Kids arrive. (Bro and SIL both had birthdays last month, 39 and 35 but they're kids to me)
Ironing done
Big box of lab glassware that was taking up the spare room soaking in washing soda. It was rescued from being skipped at work and divvied up. pretty glass stoppered bottles to put bubble bath in and glass boxes just the right size for cotton buds etc. Guess what HM prezzies my folks are gettig this year?!
Need to have a serious think about food for this evening and I'm at work all day tomorrow followed by a BBQ to take a contribution to then other visitors who'll want feeding on Monday. £10 shopping budget left too. Groan.
Off to get the rest of the house tidied then, who knows, I may get washed and dressed.
Have a good morning doing what your doing.
PS JillD, how late were you up until last night!! Carry on like that and you'll be meeting DeniseNZ. Anybody heard from her btw?One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

Two loads of washing done and most of it dry and put away. Changed spare bed today because my DS is coming home at the end of the week for a night and then for a few nights the following week (he's going to Cornwall in between). Haven't seen him since May.
Other than that not much, S & Sd the kitchen (as usual) and pottered about. It is the weekend after all0 -

Afternoon all
Finally catching up with life.
Been a load going on, hugs to all, welcome people and well done to everyone with something crossed off.
Arrggghhhh the quiets gone, pigpens back!!! (hope it wasnt too horrid for you!)
Well nothing got done this week i was as a conference all week which was held where i work and so nothing got done but everything got trashed:eek:!! I also moved offices so have had to sort that out too:eek::eek:.
So last night i tried to tidy up, but made myself a cheese on toast for supper and slit my finger open on the cheese cutter. 3 plasters later and much swearing and clearing up of blood i gave up doing ANYTHING except pouring a glass of wine and going to bed with a DVD .
This morning i did my duty and taught many children the joys of swimming. (and some of them actually got it too!!) Came home and put some washing on, have washed my car (in my wetsuit i wore for work, gets rather nippy 2hrs in the water doing nothing but talking!) got many strange looks , had a shower and cleaned the bath whilst in there. Then my friend phoned and asked to come round. So i hoovered upstairs whist i waited for her. We then went to the coffee shop and had a spot to eat and she asked me to be Maid of Honour for her wedding (announced the engagement last Sunday) so im chuffed :j She then helped me put my sofa back together, my darling cat had !!!!ed on it in the week and i shoved the throw and cover into wash on thurs but it was a 2 woman job to put it back on. I hoovered in the lounge and dusted in my own way (with the hoover!) So now im slightly tidier but my finger is hurting so im thinking im going to open a bottle of wine and mong in the garden on my hammock.
Thanks lil_me for the list - sorry i completely ignored it, it wasnt through choice. but it shows how easy it was to catch up when you do a bit each week.
Hugs to everyone and enjoy the sunshine this glorious bank holiday weekend, oh and if anyone actually knows what i do as a maid of honour i would love to know. So far im going with getting to the church before the bride and wearing a dress.
See you Monday (perhaps)

welcome back pigpen!!!! I have missed you terribly....;)
How was the holiday?? Apart from being covered in puke most of the journey:eek: ?? This homecoming is the worst bit I think of a holiday. Everyone walks in with a deep sigh, sits down, or disappears into their rooms, or opens suitcases to get their [STRIKE]cr*ppy[/STRIKE] wonderful souvenirs they bought and that leaves you with the suitcases, feeding the hungry crew, the post, the missed calls, and everything else, I always say to myself: Welcome home Esther...
Anyway, it's good to see you back, hope you are not too stressed out!!!0 -
Hi all - welcome back Pigpen
I am sat at work going bonkers. 2 phone calls in 6 hours (and one of those was someone who thought she may have left her glasses yesterday). 1 person called in for details. I am expecting it to be as quiet tomorrow and Monday too (still only 10-3 then).
Not much done in the way of flying this morning unless you count me "flying" round getting myself ready for work, kids fed breakfast, littles showered and hair washed and their case packed for weekend. Looked in other room DH on computer "just having a nose around thats all". Blooming men! He gets up and just has himself to worry about on his work days. Enough moaning.
Plan for later:-
Tackle ironing pile (DH seems to have stopped helping out with this)
Pop girls Happy land box of toys back in garage (takes up too much space in their room)
S & S Kitchen (unless DH has done it)
Yesterdays cakes turned out yummy, hoping some left for when I get home(kiddies sent off with one to Nannies). HM yoghurt worked great popped flask onto of boiler and ready this morning, just need to experiment with flavouring it now.
Yeah only 3/4 of an hour left - whats the betting some idiot comes in 2 mins before I lock the door! lol0
