Morning-ish,
Can't believe how gorgeous it is here again and about flippin' time. I'm making the most of it and doing garden stuff but so far I have..
2 washloads out and on the line
Lucy been for her annual boosters
Small shop for birthday cake ingredients
Checked out the launderette..
Not so scared now but I've bagged the duvet up to be done once I've scrabbled enough 20ps together. I've a 3rd double duvet somewhere for the spare bed that I nicked the duvet off IYSWIM..
Charity shop final drop off and bought a book
Spend and Save on the High Street for bits and bobs. The young woman in front of me was buying Stardrops and I was itching to ask her if she was a Flylady. We should have a secret handshake or wink or something!
Bit of pruning and now I've got the big boy loppers out so I'm off to do some damage.

Morning all,
This is the first time since wed evening that I have switched on the PC  (I feel that I have had withdrawal symptoms but we have been very busy). i haven't managed much flying but we do have a garden which is looking much tidier and two full skips of weed etc to prove it, it has been so nice here that it seemed a waste to be inside, however I have also managed -
S&S Kitchen
declutter (again) and hoover lounge
3 wash loads
washing ironed and put away
picked loads of veg from the garden, blanched it and its in the freezer for winter :j
Both girls went off to school happy yesterday, I didn't cry(well not openly) when the little one went in, but they all looked so small - lil_me she is in Primary One she was five at the end of July but we don't have a reception year here just nursery so this was her first day at big school. House has seemed very quiet I think that is why hubbie has been keeping me so busy in the garden it has certainly distrated me. Any way better go and start to fill another skip, we are going out to tea tonight (I have some leisure vouchers which we are going to use at Pizza Hut).0 -
Afternoon all.
Lovely photos beccatje - I'm like you Shell, I like puppies and kittens better than babies (Bad Crap Mother)
So far I have done two loads of washing, most of it dry and put away already and the rest nearly done.
Made hobnobs and a ginger tray bake.
Vacuumed all through downstairs (had to clear up the flour and oatmeal somehow, the dog missed a few bits).
Watched Spendaholics.
Nearly time to cook lunch, back later.0 -
Quick update:-
Have been to clown show (bit rubbish but littles liked it!)
Trip to library - books returned new ones picked for reading session this pm
Popped to shop
Lunch reheated (left-overs from last nights tea :money: ) Kids nagged for those snack pack things till I said we had pasta at home:D .
Decided building society job can wait until Monday:o
Girls going to Nannies for sleep over tomorrow so they want to make a chocolate orange cake to take with them so we have baking, book reading and pizza making to keep them busy this pm. Plus I recorded a film earlier so can always make some popcorn to go with it if need be:T . Think I may have found some sloes yesterday but not sure so trying to investigate. I hope so as would love to make some later in the year when they are ready for picking - would also help with xmas presents!
Right off to find the hm yoghurt receipe.0 -
Hi All. Feeling much more postive and upbeat today, viewings done for today and then one tomorrow. DH has told the Estate Agents that its now until we move out next week. Actually feel better cos I've been the through the house so everywhere is clean and has a better feel to it. Managed to cross off all my to do list for the week so am very chuffed about that!!! Can't do anymore packing really now until next week so think tomorrow and Sunday will be chill out days, we are quite busy with my b'day things anyway, as we both really need it.
Today
Mirror had final coat of varnish and is now done
Cleaned through and tidied
Changed a few accounts on line
Swapped curtains for ones I'm leaving
Done as much as I can in garage
Packed up two boxes - all odd stuff so put together and will find it homes at new place, box in garage
Packed away Christmas presents I've brought, box into garage
Done two loads of washing, 1st lot out before we went swimming so dried, 2nd lot just finished
Taken DS to swimming playgroup and then dropped him at IL's
Read everyones post so hugs and hellos where needed!
Baby is will inlaws so I could clean and tidy for viewing and MIL is keeping him for a bit. Since I've managed to do my list I'm going peg out the load thats just finished and have lunch and chill out till him comes back.Lightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!
Baby on board!:D0 -
since picking charlie up at 12:30, i have:
- found out how much nursery bill is for the trial period
- filled car up with petrol and got some milk
- unloaded car
- one load through WM and out on line
- 2nd load now in
- brought in bin, recycling box and bag
- took delivery of our new green bin, read through what we can put in it, then put all waste cardboard in kitchen out in it
- stuck charlie in front of his sign language DVD so i could get that lot done
4:30 - spent 10 minutes out in the garden with him, so had a look round at how bad the weeds are and then blew some bubbles for him to watch. Stripped our bed, so that is now in the WM along with Charlie's spare set. I have had about an hour of pure grot - lots of tears and wanting to be picked up, then put down, and he has finally given in and had a sleep. Really naff timing though, but not his fault as he didn't have a morning nap till 12, then when i picked him up he woke up, and he is well out of the routine.
Just waiting for WM to finish, then i will peg all that lot out, but then wake him up fairly early so he can have tea and a bath, and then hopefully be in bed at a reasonable hour so i can rest and hopefully feel a bit better.0 -

and mopped floors
Just got all tiles in kitchen to clean...Might do them tomorrow

Very quiet on here, I wonder if everyone has the lovely weather?
I've just popped in to cool off, garden looking smart in places and I had an hours holiday. got my picnic rug out and a novel and just. did. nothing.. Ahh, that's what I've been waiting for all Summer.
House work yet to be done but the visitors I thought I was getting for the day tomorrow aren't arriving 'til 8pm so I'll have tomorrow to myself too. Plenty of time.
Tracyg, chilling sounds like a good idea after how you felt yesterday. Good decision not to have any more viewings until you've packed up. Enjoy your couple of days.
Jacksmummy, you really are going for it, well done you and glad you're seeing the benefit!

OMG you should see the state of my house
I fell off the Flylady bandwagon this week because I had an OU assignment to write - have just finished it this afternoon (thank goodness for email submission) and looked around!
It's not as bad as it used to be (which is good, I suppose) but where did my nice clean house go?!?!?!
All three boys are away this weekend at grandparents, because we're re-decorating their rooms. So I'm going to do my best to catch up, and then next week I am definitely back on board!!! :T
Have a good weekend everyone!0 -
Well the ironing is done :j the pile has started again due to the 3 wash loads I've done (last one is in now) but shouldn't take more than 30 mins to do when it's all dry
I've sorted out what I would like to fill my freezer with from Asda, now I should really write a proper list and see how much it will cost *gulp*
OH is on his way home from work, popping in to grab some cash and then going back out for take-awayMy brain is so worn out I'm glad I don't have to think about tea. Tonight is most definitely a night for mindless computer games or TV ...Ooooo Bones is on tonight
:j:D:j Right, now all I need is some lemonade, chocolate and I'll be in heaven
:rotfl: Might see what OH says to popping to Asda  Oh well, this isn't getting the proper shopping list done  So laters
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0
