Morning all :hello: :grouphug: to everyone
There was next to no FLYing for me yesterdaySo today I'm going to do dailies, and the ironing (while watching Pirates of the Carribien 1&2;)) and sort out an Asda shop, still haven't decided whether to get it delivered or go and get it myself
This weekend will be the uniform shop as DD needs new socks & school shoes  Other than that I'm planning on a quiet weekend just us three spending some quality time together as OH needs to go and pick his parents up from the airport and run them home on Saturday evening  Not happy at that one BUT in a way it will be a good thing as he still hasn't told them we've split with them being away on holiday
Right, off to play a game while I have my coffee, then I'll get stuck in :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Morning all
Had a great time at Chessington yesterday despite getting soaking, it rained on and off all day! Still it meant the park was quiet so the kids had heaps of turns on the rides. It was lovely to get back into the car though and put the heating and the heated seats on!
I plan to get downstairs which has all been cleaned this week tidy this morning. Also having my hair cut. Mum visiting this afternoon so no flying there. All bedrooms done from tip to toe last week so will give them a quick hoover etc over the weekend.
Tidy kitchen
put wash to dry - somewhere - still raining here!
haircut
Tidy family room
TMFs
Living room
Finish sorting toys
Wipe one remaining cupboard
Downstairs loo
Bathroom
ironing
label some school clothes - if I do this whilst Mum is here maybe she will help!
Will see how I get on.
Have a good day and be brave those of you entering kids rooms:rotfl:The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning all
Nice and sunny in Folkestone today :T so going to take advantage and get all the bedding washed and hung out
Then I will be having a quick clean round then start decluttering my kitchen cupboards..So that should keep me busy all morning..This afternoon I might try and tackle my huge ironing pile...I am sooo not looking forward to that but it must be done..I also want to try and get a few things listed on Ebay as christmas is looming and I need to make some extra money for all the pressies that I need to get
Hubby came home last night and could not believe the change in me and the house...All the house was nice and tidy a nice roast dinner was cooking..I cannot believe the change since I have been on here and it is only day 2
So thankyou everyone as reading through all the threads on here have really motivated me..
Sorry for waffling on ...But I am sooo grateful
Hope everyone has a good day

Morning all
Quick checklist, so far I have
S & S Kitchen
S & S Lounge
S & S Bathroom
S & S kids room
Hoovered Through
Aired and made beds (will strip and hoover later or tomorrow - still rain here:mad: )
DH packed lunch made, shirt ironed and waved off to work
Littles fed and watered (not dressed yet though)
To do:
Trip to building society
Trip to chemist (pick up DD1 prescription & more plasters:rolleyes: )
Trip to Clown show with littles (free entertainment at the community center:j )
Pop to shop for bio-yoghurt (gonna have a go at HM Yoghurt)
Make pizza dough for tea
Have decided to leave all the deep cleaning jobs until DD1 starts school (my baby starting school:eek: ) and DD2 starts nursery:eek:  . Flying and daily tidies will keep of top of it and house looks and smells clean and tidy so will settle for that at mo. DD1 behaviour is much better if I keep her occupied trouble is with the horrible weather running out of new things to do. We started pompoms so may get another half hour out of that later.
Becca, your DD looks very cute but as I have 2 littles of my own its the puppy I am lusting after - so fluffy and cute. Funny it was always baby animals that made me broody and not babies.
Right off to play some weird made up game DD1 has just thought off.0 -
Morning all,
I'm running a bit late today. DH is off playing golf in a charity thing today - his cousin was supposed to turn up at 8.30 to share a lift to the golf course, but was already at the door-step at 7.40  , and is probably coming back for something to eat tonight. So I've been trying to get organised for that.
I am pleased to report that noisy hen was noisy for all of 10 minutes yesterday - and that was in three different bursts. I think she was calmer because the hens managed to stagger their laying times! And I'm hoping that, because she probably won't lay today, she will be well behaved today as well. (Why do I just know that typing that is tempting fate!) If it is only once every few days I will feel a bit better about it.
Rach: Congratulations on your OH passing is driving test - it's probably a good job you didn't know about it beforehand!
Michelle: Congratulations to your little brother with his GCSE results.
Beccatje: Well done on getting your contract made permanent. And thanks for sharing the photos - they were great.
Solway: Come on - be brave and have a go at the laundrette. You'll be so chuffed once you've done it (and have a clean duvet).
Jacksmummy: Hello! Isn't this forum brilliant. It means I no longer panic when somebody calls round unexpectedly.
Right, time to get on: I'm doing computer work this morning (so nag me if I'm on here too often!) Then this afternoon is flying and cooking/baking.
Catch you all later.

Thanks for all the hugs - just popping in on way through, tearing my hair out.
The Christening would have been fine apart from a) DH couldn't stand the stress and b) SIL (supposed to be godmother, boy am I regretting that decision) has driven me absolutely frantic. If it could go ahead without her there would be no trouble, we could sort something out.
The Church I go to doesn't have a church hall, but I know a church that does. I'm not bothered about food because the people coming are, on the whole, fine and don't get on their high horses. It's surprising how you can cater from Nettos/Aldi. Even with DS I wasn't too worried.
At some point I am going to have to try and tactfully say to well meaning SIL (that's possibly the worst bit - she does mean well but drives me nuts) that I would like to sort stuff out myself.
All this over a Christian ceremony - I am really struggling with the Christian bit a the moment and actually quite ashamed of how unchristian I've felt about the whole thing. Sigh.
DH was told that he has to go in, because if he doesn't he will break his contract and definitely not get paid. If he does go in he still might not get paid. So I did have hopes that we could manage the Christianing if DH had dropped the stress levels but it still seems absolutely crackers for him at work. He's a manager, so is supposed to be setting a good example, and he will be so honest about it, when his bosses have got to this point because they have been less than fair (long story).
I think it could be a real break for DH, but we will see.
Anyway, I had better get off. Apart from such flying as I may or may not get done, Lakeland catalogue has just come!
Hugs to all!
(token note of flying - have actually got washing in, looked out cards to send for Dad's birthday, hoovered, and sorted post. All on auto pilot!)Always another chapter0 -
Morning everyone.
I'm back in work this morning, so i am just catching up while having a small break.
Up early with Charlie again, and he was baing a monkey over breakfast, as he was squeezing his lips together and pushing the weetabix down the sides of his mouth. He normally eats well but i wonder if he is starting to get a bit bored of it, or perhaps his teeth were bothering him or something.
Then we had the usual run around in the morning to get out vaguely on time.
At work i have been in my classroom sorting my filing cabinet out as the technician very kindly moved it into my classroom for me. 2 drawers done, 2 more to go. This is better than it sounds as i put everything belonging to me at school into this cabinet before my maternity leave started and then left it. Some stuff has been put for recycling, some of it is personal info and needs shredding.
Before i can get further with it i need to sort out my boxes of school stuff at home and bring some of that into work too as i have a folder for each topic i teach, and some of it is just worksheets that need to go into those folders.
Will be thinking of my list to do at home when me and charlie go back after lunch, as so far this week i have been a bit rubbish and not done anything constructive. I have been in work for 4 days and on a trip for 1, but some of you do that every week and it doesn't stop you.
hev hope things lighten up for you soon
becca well done on the permanent contract and brilliant piccies of the flooring. I was also thinking how good the storage box looked. I like that style but it wouldn't match in with my furniture. Good to hide the necessary tut though.
Will speak to you all later anyway.

Good morning
I have done Asda shopping, no free delivery voucher for me this week, it's not the actual shopping I hate, it's the putting it on the belt, packing it, unpacking it and putting it away in the cupboards that I hate.
My kids laugh when I say that when they eat my lovely dinner I have had the ingredients in my hands at least 5 times. off shelf in trolley, out of trolley on belt at checkout, pack it in bags, unpack in house, out of freezer, cupboard, fridge to cook!! :rotfl: :rotfl: I know I am mad....:p
I have just placed a Lakeland orderLove that stuff. I ordered more lock 'n lock containers for my flour, rice etc., a lovely shortbread mould, some craft bits, a traybake tin so I can make traybakes from Mary Berry's book and slice up and freeze for kids (and me and OH:D )
Kids want to be a "homes" today (meaning that I pick them up at lunchtime) it is a lovely day so we'll have a little picnic.
threathened DD1 and DD2 with NO tidy room, no allowance and I won't give in this week, I will just hoover and dust around their mess!!!!!!
Determined to better myself with the ironing, after doing such a huge pile this week, I will try and iron as it comes off the line.. (we'll see)
I have not half waffled a lot, better go do something...
Cheerio!0
