Lil_me - Do you use the sachets or make up your own? Am toying with the idea of asking for one as a birthday pressie.

Best get back to the kiddies they have been quiet for the last 20 mins so know my time must be up!!

    Hi All

Just a quick post from me as I am steaming! Not only is it not enough for me to pack up a 3 bedroom house single handley, then keep up with cooking each night (from scratch), all washing and ironing and doing basic cleaning to keep everywhere okay-ish so I can deep clean next week as we move out I'm now expected to show people round the house tomorrow and Saturday so house has to be cleaned top to bottom, move as much of packing stuff away as possible and garden needs mowing and weeping to get it back to normal (was just going to do one final tidy next week). PLUS look after, feed, clean and clothe, play with, give my undivided attention to a 10month old baby for about 10 hours a day - erm, full time job in its self!!! Is it just me or am I being unreasonable and moaning at doing too much?

    [strike]Out most of day
Boots, Retail park[/strike] got some fab bargins from Boots for Christmas pressies
    chicken and pasta for tea
[strike]Buy car tax online[/strike] put back to next week as can't do online and need new cover note
Sort out oven shelves from bath
Clean through for Friday - downstairs done, will do upstairs when DH in
Make box up for utility room

Sorry but just need to blow off some steam. Everything I'm expected to do and I think its too much for one person - I'm getting no help from anyone. Feel really gulity for sitting down having 5 minuts to myself while DS sleeps, keep thinking of everything I've got to do. Right, must go as I'm going to go crazy in a minute.

So far Shell I've only used the packets, main reason ages ago Julian Graves had a sale on (someone said they do regular but I am rarely in town where it is) and I bought squillions :o they were half price, I have said I will try it when I run out, but I haven't yet. Also makes it very easy and I know it'll work, I will be brave, eventually and try to make my own.

Tracyg grab that hubby of yours and tell him what you just posted, definately not fair having to deal with all that alone, also I find a strike helps, refuse to do stuff, maybe things like pack his stuff etc for the move

Well manic half hour dash round, I've cleared most of the living room, cleared the floor, swept and mopped through downstairs. All dinner stuff now prepared, veg chopped and in pans ready for switch on, meat in oven cooking (oven timer on) yorkshire batter made and in the fridge, phew! Awful isn't it, get an hour or so peace and I'm dashing about like a nutter, well I'm going to have 5 minutes sit before I do anything else. While DP ferries about some footballer worth millions to some posh do, oh how the other half live!
One day I might be more organised...........

    Hiya,
    Welcome to the thread Jacksmummy!
Hugs for Hev, sometimes things are a blessing in disguise but I hope you'll manage.
Tracyg, don't go crazy, delegate. It's an awful time moving when the house still has to be show worthy at short notice and you want to get on with packing it up plus all the everyday stuff needs doing.

Second lovely sunny day in a row here and I've got the adrenalin. I'm off work again tomorrow so it feels like Friday to me. So I've started on Wednesdays list that I didn't do. Makes sense to me :D .

WM on already and I might do some more [STRIKE]pruning[/STRIKE] random hacking in the garden first to get that bin filled good and proper for the morning.
Need to sort a plan of action for tomorrow while I'm off. Want to see if I can get my duvet washed but I haven't been to the laundrette in years. Some people hate making phone calls I hate unfamiliar things, I've put it off for so long though.. Be brave Solway!

    Toodle-oo for now.

    Alrighty!

I have made a catch up sprint. Did my bedroom, changed the bed, tidied up and hoovered.
    AND I cleaned the bathroom.

We had Chinese take away for dinner so that was a bit cheating, but also a celebration as tomorrow I will be signing my permanent contract at work! (after working on several temp. contracts there.) They are apparently happy enough with me to hire me permenantly! :T

After dinner I made the kids clean up the kitchen while I put little squirt to bed, and then DH and I took the puppy out of a run (next to the bikes) and a play in the woods.
Now we are sitting down with a coffee.

    pfff

Welcome all newbe's to the thread! You'll find lots of support here, and if it can make a big difference in MY house, you'll do great! :rotfl:

Hugs to those who are down. Hope things improve for you soon.
I used to have a tile that read: In time this too shall pass.
    And that's very very true!

    Have a good evening everybody!

Fantastic floor Becca, gorgeous little girl, I would say that she is my niece after all and the puppy looks so fluffy, spoilt as well I see, sleeping on the chair instead of the floor

Tomorrows lists, I know you all love me for that one, especially those with smaller places and no kids :rotfl:

Becca great news :D well done on getting the permenant contract :D Great floor, what a difference but couldn't help saying Awwww! at the puppy and squirt! Lovely child, she's adorable isn't she and that fuzzy fluffy ball is soooo cute. I love that table aswell.

Solway :D come on be brave, you know it'll be lovely to have a nice clean duvet, do you need me to post a pic of those creepy crawlies to make you take it :rotfl: Pleased I only ever have to take one to the laundrette, my winter one, summer one fits in my machine :D saves me a fortune!

Michelle sorry forgot to put last time, well done to your brother, I am sure the extra help has helped him along, free car repairs as repayment :D when he qualifies of course.

I've just made the biggest fruit salad ever, it contains (in my bowl) nectarine, melon, strawberries, raspberries, grapes, apple, banana, kiwi and it does have a peach but I'm having to fish it out as it's gone off 'insert smilie cringing here' ewww! Yak add one of the kiwi to that, pleugh, spat into compost bin, ick!

Suppose I best go through my list and see what I still have left to do, seeing as it's 8pm :o

lil_me well done! that fruit salad sounds YUMMY!

Thanks for the compliments. The puppy is indeed very soft, fluffy and cuddly, but has LOADS of energy!
