I'm not going to fly today. going to start again tomorrow and combine the bedrooms on friday which is dh day off so he can occupy the kids all day while i throw myself at those rooms.weve still s+s downstairs and doing dailies just not getting into detail on our bedroom as it really needs a big effort and if i dont get finished before he goes to work well have nowhere to sleep!
hope your all well0 -
Shirleypark - you might want to ask over on the wedding board too BUT...
Nice ones are with the "flock" together... instead of lining them up front on (not actually very flattering!) angle people. Not 90 degrees but slightly off 90 degrees. This is a far more flattering angle for everyone
Check out the venue - they may have photo albums that can give you ideas and then make a list of pictures you'd like to take and tick them off as you go. And always take several takes of each pose.
Another VERY cute shot I've seen is a shot from behind... now this can be done a few ways... either with the groom resting his hand on the brides bottom, or both doing it so arms kinda crossed. Or if that isn't their thing then holding hands walking away from the camera works well too
A bit like symbolising walking off to their new life together
Also makes a great thank you card
Try to get one of the bride throwing her bouqet (sp) even if you need several shots - if you can make it fun and have a joke and get her laughing and taking the shot from the front then this works very well
I should be a photographer lol! DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

JillD more than happy to pass on the good news when little one arrives, will also stop us all worrying which does happen when one of the regulars isn't on for a little while. Pleased to hear you're feeling better.
Michelle pleased to hear you are feeling better.
Anne welcome, hope you enjoy joining us
Fire service called this morning, they are coming to speak to little one next week but came today to install fire alarms, I had one but wasn't enough, we now have one upstairs, one downstairs and one in little terrors bedroom. They fitted them all free aswell which is great, all with 10 year batteries and if we have a problem with them they come out and deal with it. The lady who came with the fitter also went through fire safety checks and some helpful stuff. Like pointing out that even washing machines put on overnight can cause fires! They were lovely but kind of scary that my son was being referred to as a 'firesetter', suppose it's just the term they use but not nice to hear.
Oh before they came me and DP tackled the shoes and coats big style, also the landing, stairs etc. Seeing as we were up there we pulled ottoman etc out and cleared/cleaned behind and under that, urgh! Problem, I moved a lot of junk and it's now piled on my bed to be sorted through today
made more work as usual! Thinking of the risks in a fire yesterday really hit us. All the boys shoes are now upstairs in their room. All excess coats now upstairs.
One day I might be more organised...........

Afternoon all
Good and bad today.
Good - I've stripped bed and remade. Dried two loads of washing on the line and just pegged out a third lot. Lovely breezy day. Dusted and vacuumed all the bedrooms and the landing and vacuumed toilet and bathroom floors.
Dusted living room and computer desk, vacuumed living room, stairs, hallway and kitchen. S & Sd kitchen.
Bad - checked bank online (which I do every day) and some little s*** has spent £1.800.77 on my switch card on travel money in Camberley. I live in the west country. I've been on the phone to the bank and they've cancelled my card and set up a fraud investigation but who knows how long that will take. I'm not overdrawn today but I will be tomorrow. They say that any charges will be refunded if they are due to the fraud but I don't feel sure about that. I think I might cancel the money going to e-savings which is due to go in 2 days. I can always set it up again when it's all sorted out.
Feel really sick and shaky, it was a nasty shock seeing that. I use AV, spyware checks and I never open emails from people I don't know. I've had lots of phishing emails lately from Barclays but we're not with Barclays so they'vs just been deleted unread. I don't feel safe at all now.0 -
Thank goodness - I typed all that and then the page crashed but luckily it posted anyway. I say luckily, but I'd rather have had more luck with my bank account.....0

Well we've made a start on the clothing - doing it 15 minutes at a time using my timer
Uniform is done apart from socks & shoes and I'm writing a list as I go along of what she'll need NOW and what she'll need in a few weeks/months
Not as bad as I thought, as long as I can keep her out of the boxes of other clothing until we've been through all the loose stuff  Wash basket is sitting there waiting for things to be thrown in it for a refreshing wash, a basket is waiting for things that no longer fit (already stuff in there  ) and there is a pile of empty hangers  Looks like I'll be spending a while ironing this weekend :eek: There's the timer...off for another 15 minutes of clothes  Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
